Philadelphia University student, Jim Jackson Gordan, has built himself a Dark Knight armor out of kevlar and silicone molds. But since he is a Ramen-eating college student rather than a billionare playboy he took to Kickstarter to fund his project. Once Gordan raised over $1,200 in 30 days, Gordon then built the suit in under two months.

He invited other attendees of the Maryland anime convention Katsucon to test out the functionality of his combat suit. While his suit can take a lot of damage it still can't take bullet but it can take a machete.

While Gordan isn't a master of 127 forms of martial arts he does have a black belt in Kung Fu. The finished helmet is about three pounds, and the whole suit weighs about 25 pounds.
