I recently did an article about the issues with the rumors about Bane in TDKR. If you care to read, here's the link.

Moving on, I've decided to do some "detective work". I will be doing this as a series of editorials/articles on rumors that come up.
This time, I will be talking about the inclusion of actress Juno Temple in Chris Nolan's newest Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises.
As you very well may know, absolutely everybody has their knickers in a wad wondering if this young lady will be playing the much famed Harley Quinn, apprentice of The Joker. Rumors come up frequently about these types of things, and it's perfectly acceptable to get excited about it. However, is there some substantial evidence to support THIS rumor?

This is a link to the IMDB listing on The Dark Knight Rises. Here, she is listed as "Holly Robinson". "Who is Holly Robinson?", you ask?
Wikipedia sums it up quite nicely.
"Holly is a frequent ally and sidekick of Catwoman. She was trained by Wildcat and her friend Selina Kyle, and temporarily became the new Catwoman following the birth of Selina's daughter."
Selina became Holly's friend and protector, and Holly was around to witness the beginning of Selina's career as Catwoman.
Holly Robinson also has an indirect role in forming Bruce Wayne's persona of Batman. She maims him lightly in a fight, during one of his "early attempts at crimefighting", which wounds Bruce's pride a bit. Remember the teaser trailer for TDKR? Common sense tells you that Bruce's self esteem is a bit low during his conversation with Commissioner Gordon. His run-ins with Catwoman and Holly Robinson would be a nice segue into Bane's struggle to undermine him.
Let's put some brain power to use, and speculate on what this means. If Holly is a friend of Selina Kyle, then we might see some origin story in TDKR. Why? Because Holly Robinson is a character that knows everything about Catwoman, it's only natural that we might get an explanation of her origins. Perhaps in conversation with Bruce Wayne, she mentions Catwoman.
As for the seemingly random inclusion of Catwoman in Nolan's new film, well, I hate to break it to you dudes and dudettes, but she fits like a glove.
Shortly after the events of 'Long Halloween', Selina Kyle visits the grave of Carmine Falcone, thinking that she may be his daughter, and we know that Falcone already has a big part of Nolan's story-arc. PLUS, later in Batman history, The League of Assassins launches an assault against Batman after that, in which Catwoman assists him. You should know by now that Ra's Al Ghul is reportedly making a return. The whole story-arc that Nolan has created revolves around Ra's Al Ghul's involvement in so many lives, and Catwoman's inclusion comes straight off the pages.
If you doubted Nolan before, it might be high time to revise your opinion.
