Frak me. Weintraub was on Twitter last night saying he had "good updates from Oldman on TDKR"? I wouldn't call an actor praising a movie he's going to be in an update, good or otherwise!

Don't get me wrong MF, well worth posting! I was just disappointed that he didn't get more out or him.

He sounds genuinely impressed by it. I hope it's as good as everyone working on it says it is.

@ Venereal Cockroach, Did you read my comment you [frick]ing imbecile? It's most definitely worth the article, I just thought from Collider's tweet that he would have given up more info.

Nice find Ror, gotta agree with Exiles too, Goldman is a brilliant actor and in my mind is just as irreplaceable as Gordon as Bale is as Batman, I love these movies and will be heartbroken when Nolan and those actors leave the franchise.

@Video Colour, [frick] off you tit, try actually contributing to the site in an intelligent way instead of ripping on other peoples work, I mean the people who contribute to the news section of this site are like [frick]ing machines, the way they get these news scoops before anyone else has even realised the story dropped.

Oldman seems like the type who isn't easy to impress, so if he sounds impressed then I think we're good folks.

Yup, Oldman definitely wasn't lying about that story Nolan briefed him on. Very good news, very good.. Only problem I have is berlow the video where it says the cast, why is Marion in there? Her casting wasn't officially announced, yet. I don't even think JGL's casting is official, yet. FAIL.

Have to agree with Ror on this one, about being disappointed that Oldman didnt say more. I think that we got more coverage from the cast especially on the way to TDK, with this movie its almost like theyre trying to hard to keep everything on the down low.

I love Gary Oldman's work. I really enjoyed him in The Fifth Element as well. He is a natural fit for Gordon. Great article, too bad they didn't get more out of him.

NICE one DCMARVELFRESHMAN!! I like how he said "you wondered if Nolan would be able to top TDK and i think he has." or something like that. Great stuff. ...and yeah we arent going to get much out of him because of Nolan's tight-lip policy and with the movie being so far off.

...question though [and this isnt me being a jerk, im honestly curious]: have Marion Cotillard and Joseph Gordon Levitt been officially cast yet??

Nobody knows if they've been cast. So please. Stop saying they have until they are confirmed.

yeah, read bout this from batman-on-film.com this morning...

with rumors having it that Oldman really didn't want to come back, he's either sincere and it's a great story or he's just saying that and really doesn't care cause its his last one...

He should have asked him why he took the Red Riding Hood part. The film looks awful.
