Last night we were greeted with 2 brand new spots for Christopher Nolan's TDKR, featuring lots of nice new shots of Batman, Bane and Catwoman, as well as a few interesting captures that might hint a little more at the plot..

The 2 television spots that debuted last night offered up a plethora of new shots from TDKR, and as is our custom here on CBM we have slowed things down a bit and given you guys a chance to have a closer look. Some of the caps are a little fuzzy, no hi-res releases as yet I'm afraid..



























Is there anything here that might hint at a previously un-revealed plot point? If you were a bit unsure about the looks of Bane or Catwoman have they grown on you at all? Sound off below. Thanks to the lads over at the TDKR Facebook page for most of the grabs.

Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ "The Dark Knight Rises" is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. The screenplay is written by Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan, story by Christopher Nolan & David S. Goyer. The film is produced by Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Charles Roven, who previously teamed on “Batman Begins” and the record-breaking blockbuster "The Dark Knight." The executive producers are Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Kevin De La Noy and Thomas Tull, with Jordan Goldberg serving as co-producer. The film is based upon characters appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Batman was created by Bob Kane.

i remember reading a rumor on this site a couple of months ago saying that the movie would pick up right where the last one ended before the 8 year jump. there are a couple of shots in the trailer, specifically the ones of Nixon by the storage bins and batman being chased on the batpod by all the cops, that could strengthen that claim. it could be an interesting spin on things if it happens that way

Yeah, I wasn't aware Nolan was going for the Blair Witch style in shooting this... that Batman in the tunnel pic is hilarious. We need a new caption contest using these pics.

Bane looks like Bane in Batman and Robin, when he shrinks, at the end.
But the soundbite "Born and raised in Hell", if in referance to Bane, is promising. Hopefully this means that he was actually born and raised in the Pena Duro prison, Santa Prisca. Not just some war-torn country like those rumours said, a while back. Although those rumours were like a year ago and tghat would have been quite the scoop, for a Nolan Batman film, so it's probably wrong.

Im sure the movie is going to be great but that shot of Batman is.. eh.. kinda strange. He looks like some kinda goblin.. or leprechaun.. I can almost hear him heavy breathing "gimme ya gold". And I do belive Alfred needs to shape up his ironing skill, just what the h#*l did he do to the Bats pants??

A lot of good points about the timeline. Nothing seems to make sense. The recovery process seems to take a long time, so it can't happen AFTER eight years. He must be "broken" at the beginning, or some time in between. Remember all the flashbacks within flashbacks in Batman Begins? I'm guessing thats going to happen here. How many scenes actually take place BEFORE that last film? Or even before BB?

Bane looks like he's in Wayne Enterprises. The room looks similar to the one in TDK. Maybe this is when he robs the Tumblers and spares Lucius Fox.

That has to be Wayne. Who else could sneak up on someone like ninja cat? There's more frames to that scene. He makes it all the way up to the camera/person.
