As a show of his support for the controversial casting of Ben Affleck, William Shatner tweeted to the acclaimed director and then proceeded to nominate himself for the role of Alfred Pennyworth. The ever loyal and reliable butler,father figure and confidante of the Caped Crusader. The original tweet reads as follows;

Shatner is known for his humorous utterances so this could be him just trying to rile up some fanboys, but it's still fun. So in the highly unlikely possibility that he somehow get's that role, what do you guys think?
