I just wish they would show them in IMAX in the IMAX theaters. I did this marathon thing for The Avengers and that was so much frickin fun. But I also like to see my premieres in IMAX and these special engagements show no love to the IMAX in Imax theaters :(

I talked to AMC on twitter. A guy named Bryen responded saying Avengers isn't in the lineup because this is showing on Thursday and they didnt want it to start early and end late. -_____-

Both Iron Man and Thor marathons were on Thursdays and included Avengers.

Plus this is $30 and your only getting 2 movies. I paid that for 4 movies in Iron Man marathon and $25 for 3 movies in Thor marathon.

I'm planning to just go to the Marvel early screening on the 20th.

The 1st Cap movie is the lowest quality of the Marvel movies, but might be a lil better seeing it a 2nd time like how Thor 1 turned out.

Meh. The First Avenger was the weakest Phase 1 movie. I'd rather just watch the Winter Soldier by itself.

@Omega Very true. But I also assume they are going to reference "The Battle of New York" countless times during CA:TWS.

I'll just watch CA:TFA and Avengers on Blu-ray before I go see Winter Soldier.

Eh I don't mind AVENGERS getting cut out for this reason: With the Thor stuff, remember its his brother that was the baddie in AVENGERS. If it was Red Skull instead, then yeah AVENGERS in a Cap marathon would make more sense.

I don't think it matters that much at this rate.

If it was a 3D marathon with Avengers, I'd be in.
Think I'll do fine with my BluRays, otherwise.

I thought CA:TFA was one of the strongest phase one movies as well and it's still one of my favorite MCU movies... I'm not even a big Cap fan, at all... but thought it was awesome. Had a lot of heart.

CATFA was a very average movie but I will say that it probably was one of the toughest comic book movies to bring to the big screen due to the origin of it so I still think it did a good job in explaining the goofy looking costume that was used in the 1940s comic book that really does not transcend at all into a live action movie , it set up Cap for the Avengers and now I expect the CAWS is going to be the real deal from what I've seen they've cleverly introduced the Blue SHIELD suit which from what I've seen looks cool and also they've brought back the CAFA suit with some modern modifications that make it look bad ass as well .
