More From Anthony Mackie On 'The 'Falcon's' Allegiance In CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR
The 'Falcon' actor played coy when previously asked if his Sam Wilson will side with Iron Man or Captain America in the 2016 Civil War adaptation, but check out what Anthony Mackie says now.

Beyond the "untidy" clash between Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) and Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America: Civil War's most interesting premise is forcing the supporting characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to choose sides of the Registration Act. There are many allegiances that remain to be seen, including Black Widow's, Winter Soldier's, and the Black Panther's, but there's one loyalty from the comic storyline that we can certainly expect to see flesh out in Civil War. When We Got This Covered asked Anthony Mackie where will Sam Wilson's loyalty lie in the 2016 Marvel sequel, he replied: "I don’t know. It’s hard. Tony Stark is one cool brother, so I would definitely have to side with him just for the parties. Then when it came to the fight, I’d go over to Cap (laughs). Tony and I could party together, but as soon as it comes to fighting, I’m with Cap." This should come as no surprise given the Falcon had supported Cap against the Superhero Registration Act in the comics. Of course, the legislative bill in the comics had forced superheros to reveal their identities, while the film will require them to agree to an oversight committee among other things. Nonetheless, the Falcon/Cap dynamic and their future endeavors together were well-established in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, so it makes sense for that to continue. What do you think?
