One of the more special relationships that developed in Marvel Comics was the romantic pairing between Wanda Maximoff (The Scarlet Witch) and the android Vision. While the cinematic versions of these characters haven't come close to having that dynamic just yet, the characters will be spending some extended time together during the film. During the Los Angeles Press event for Captain America: Civil War, Paul Bettany (Vision) went into some detail about how he thinks the two characters begin to form a bond, and how their "youth" lends itself to that.
"I think they both don’t know the extent of their powers, and that’s frightening. Vision has just recently been born, and she has recently received this gift. And not knowing, like a child, where his boundaries are, that’s kind of a terrifying… what’s the extent, where does the room stop? Where are the walls? And also I think he’s really interested in what it means to be human, and that might well be love. I think he’s trying to work out what that is."
With Civil War taking place approximately a year after Age of Ultron, It makes sense that Wanda and the Vision are still getting accustomed to their powers. The Russo Brothers have previously implied that their shared connection with the mind stone will also come into play in the film. Given that their lives and abilities originate from this cosmic relic, it seems like a very organic choice to have the two character gravitate towards one another. It seems likely that the two could very well head down the same path as their comic counterparts.
