“Captain America: The Winter Soldier” picks up where “Marvel’s The Avengers” left off, as Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C. Starring Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Georges St-Pierre, Hayley Atwell, Toby Jones, Emily VanCamp and Maximiliano Hernández with Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Redford, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is directed by the team of Anthony and Joe Russo from a screenplay written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely and is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1941. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing the film. Executive producers on the project include Alan Fine, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and Stan Lee. The creative production team on the film includes director of photography Trent Opaloch, production designer Peter Wenham, editors Jeffrey Ford, A.C.E. and Mary Jo Markey, A.C.E. and three time Oscar®-nominated costume designer Judianna Makovsky. “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is set for release on April 4, 2014. In addition to “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” Marvel Studios will release a slate of films based on other iconic Marvel characters including “Iron Man 3” on May 3, 2013; “Thor: The Dark World ” on November 8, 2013; “Guardians of the Galaxy” on August 1, 2014; “Marvel's The Avengers” sequel on May 1, 2015; and “Ant-Man” on November 6, 2015!

It's a tactical black camo suit.
I Don't see anything remarkable about it.

Maybe he'll get a more colorful outfit in later films?

Look cool enough, was hoping for a little more personality though. Widows and Hawkeye's were tactical gear too, but still had a little extra. This could just as easily be a grunt's costume. I still like the overall look though.

his hairs nappy. looks cool though, i guess. still have no faith in this movie though.

The should have made the glasses a bit bigger, to cover up those eyebrows completely...
Them sticking out just a bit looks weird.. But hey, they will fix it with CGI :)

I hate that they chose the ultimate universe for the movies.

I would have liked to see at least some of the original color scheme or costume elements in a functional military/spec ops suit

As long as he has some wings! I'm guessing (that is, hoping) they'll be CGI and not just left out. -CGI wings I can live with. No wings and there might be some rioting!!!

So, is no one going to photoshop/GIMPshop these images to show the wings?
Spidey91

so,the wings will be CGI I guess.

Plus in this outfit he looks tiny..And I know he's been working out.. I hope they aren't going that way to let Chris look bigger... I think there will be another suit in the movie..
Wingding
Wingding - 5/1/2013, 11:01 AM
He's most definitely flying there. The wings will be CGI. But that's what will make him special because his suit is pretty basic. I do like it, though.

WUT. OMG THEY SHOULDNT HAVE USED THE ULTIMATE COSTUME. SO GAY.

Because THAT costume is sooooo much better and no one will laugh at that. It's a good thing they went with Falcon's ultimate design, people will actually be able to take him seriously now. He looks awesome in these pictures!
kaijunexus
kaijunexus - 5/1/2013, 11:02 AM
Note that he has no wings here.

I think this is probably a separate outfit from his Falcon suit...which I would hope is a lot sleeker considering he's, you know, FLYING.
LucasMend
LucasMend - 5/1/2013, 11:02 AM
That's one lazy costume. Hope it's a prototype. Where are the colorful costumes?! Avengers brought the "non realistic" take back! I want suits with colors! Ugh.
Spideyguy94
Spideyguy94 - 5/1/2013, 11:03 AM
I was hoping for some more colour on the costume but that look is alright i guess. Still really looking forward to the movie.

Love the realistic look they're going for, screw that Village People looking costume. It wouldn't work people. Get over it.
LucasMend
LucasMend - 5/1/2013, 11:04 AM
kaijunexus true that. But also could his wings be cgi?
TMW1987ProudProWrestlingFan
TMW1987ProudProWrestlingFan - 5/1/2013, 11:04 AM
Ultimate look looks OK for this movie, as long as he gets the Red & White suit for Avengers 2, this will suffice in this movie for now.
ThatOneDude
ThatOneDude - 5/1/2013, 11:04 AM
Probably his soldier gear, he'll probably have a different look once he Falcons up!
Ocelot
Ocelot - 5/1/2013, 11:05 AM
damn he's dual wielding Uzi's, that's some Grand Theft Auto gangster shit right there, hope his costume has a bit of colour the concept was pretty dull

this id a good photoshop with a bit of red

Viltrumite
Viltrumite - 5/1/2013, 11:05 AM
Direct translation of his outfit from The Ultimates, which definitely makes sense considering what his traditional costume looks like. I can't wait to see it looks like once the wings are CGI'd in there.
XK1D
XK1D - 5/1/2013, 11:05 AM
I doubt that's the actual Falcon costume, Marvel wouldn't let that slip so easily, I'm sure this is just a combat outfit.
