Four Join CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER As Alexander Pierce's S.H.I.E.L.D. Team

A new report reveals that four actors have joined the cast of Captain America: The Winter Soldier as members of Alexander Pierce's (Robert Redford) "S.H.I.E.L.D. team." Jenny Agutter reprises her Avengers role, but hit the jump to find out who the others are.

With production on Marvel's Captain America: The Winter Soldier now underway in Cleveland, we have word on new additions to its impressive cast. According to Twitch, four actors have signed on to be a part of S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Alexander Pierce's (Robert Redford) team. Jenny Agutter will reprise her role from The Avengers as a member of the World Security Council, and City Of Angel's Bernard White is apparently playing an "Indian council member". Also joining the cast are Alan Dale (Indiana Jones & The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull) and Chin Han (who you may remember as Lau from The Dark Knight), but their roles are currently unknown. Captain America: The Winter Soldier stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Emily VanCamp, Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Redford. The film is set to hit theaters April 4th, 2014.

As good as Alan Dale was in Lost, I'll always picture him as the Australian Ambassador on Flight of the Conchords.

Also of note, it's quite the international team.

Marvel has been casting very well for these secondary role actors. It just makes the movie overall feel real, when all these secondary roles go to good actors. I'm sort of ashamed to say this, but Alan dale was also on the O.C....

@DrDoom I think you're dead on. In The Avengers the WSC was causing more of a hindrance than being helpful.

And I also got a bad vibe from them.
