Keeping the wings is the only thing that makes sense, I don't think Falcon has any super soldier serum or anything, grounding him is not a great idea.
If not they should have given the shield to Luke Cage.. can you imagine how awesome would that be.

Captain Falcon should be his new name! lol

@ManCalledSting

No idea.. Can't wait for someone to catch the shield and run in a closed space and see how it works out withouth using the wings/the air advantage. If the writers will ever make that happen.

@Nomis I like that but I think they are passing down the name, much like when Bucky took over for Cap.

Looking at the right side of that cover Luke Cage and White Tiger (And Mister Terrific, somehow?) are flying. Is that Storm with a big S on her chest? I've gotten pretty out of the loop lately but this all looks pretty stupid. How the hell could Falcon throw Cap's shield while flying?

y'know what...i'm done with this PASSING OF THE TORCH type of deal..Rhodey becoming a black iron man - War Machine, the chick taking up the Thor mantle, Bucky taking up Cap's shield..and now Falcon.

and it's not bout RACE..or gender, mind you. it's just the idea of another person taking the identity of an iconic character. i mean, overall, i think it just undermines those iconic characters, like Iron Man, Thor and Cap. i mean, with Dick Grayson or Speedy..it's a different story, they started out as "apprentices" of their legendary mentors, while Rhodey, Bucky and Rhodey...somehow they just suddenly BECOME the identities of their more known buddies, or mentors. i mean, before Cap got shot, WHEN did Bucky ever practice throwing the shield..?? same as Sam..?? and like in Iron Man 2, HOW IN THE WORLD did Rhodey can suddenly get into and MASTER the iron suit, which is supposed to ONLY respond to its creator, Tony..??
PLUS, all this stuff, i think LESSEN the uniqueness of the original characters..much like the feminizing of Superman, Batman, Hawkman, like with Supergirl, Batgirl, or Hawkgirl.

Now that Marvel runs out of ways to ruin Cap with lousy plot lines and even worse art, they surface with decent art for a change. Too bad I'm not a fan of Captain Falcon.

I don't understand how Marvel can hit a home run with the Winter Soldier movie and suck in the comics version. Cap and Winter Soldier are both great characters. Look at what Brubaker did with them.

Since Marvel doesn't seem to care about character development anymore, we get a female Thor and Captain Falcon, etc. Of course, they'll disappear around time for the new Avengers movie, and Surprise! The real Cap and Thor will return.

Boring...

How nice, he either seriously injured 3 or 4 people, possibly killing them as well, but inflicted major structural damage on a building while doing so.
