Freeze The Rescue Scene In CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER Says Sebastian Stan

Sebastian Stan says if you freeze the rescue scene in "Captain America: The First Avenger" there's a set piece that gives a clue to how Bucky survives to wreak havoc upon Captain America in present-day America. Also, Anthony Mackie teases an epic beatdown Cap puts on Frank Grillo's Brock Rumlow.

Sebastian Stan says there are clues in the "set pieces" of "Captain America: The First Avenger" that are responsible for his return as the Winter Solider in the sequel. He says to "freeze the rescue scene" (when Captain America rescues Bucky who's in the middle of being experimented upon by Arnim Zola) but he warns it's "very subtle." Directors Anthony and Joe Russo promise that you'll see a more agile, fisticuffs-oriented Captain America in the film. In a separate interview, Anthony Mackie, who plays the Falcon, jokes that Frank Grillo's Brock Rumlow (a character that goes on to become the costumed assassin, Crossbones) receives a very thorough beatdown from Cpt. Steve Rogers. "He gets the business from Captain America," is how Mackie puts it.

In interview with the cast of "Guardians of the Galaxy" actor Chris Pratt says despite Star-Lord being the leader of the team in previous "Guardians of the Galaxy" stories from Marvel Comics, the film is not specifically focused just on his character. "[Guardians of the Galaxy] is not Star-Lord's movie, it's definitely an ensemble, it's a team movie. You get to see the origin of Peter Quill but you get to 'feel' everybody, everyone in the movie has a story and a reason why they need to be part of this team."

He was already brainwashed before the train scene as i recall.

If Zola lives doesn't it mean he's the Ultron creator ? :)

CA: TWS will change Marvel CBMs. All of the Russo haters and worriers are going to be proved wrong. Watch and read interviews with these guys. They get it. The Comic Con footage was fantabulous!! Cap is going to be the badass that he is supposed to be in this flick.

Btw, just in case no one noticed, apparently that senator guy from Iron Man 2 that Gary Shandling played will be back in this movie. NOT KIDDING. WHY ARE THEY BRINGING THAT POINTLESS A-HOLE BACK!?!? ALL he did in Iron Man 2 was be a passive dick to Tony Stark FOR ALL OF 3 SCENES AND NOTHING ELSE! What the hell kind of purpose could this guy POSSIBLY serve here? I don't care if this will be a "political thriller" to a degree, I just thought we'd seen the last of this character!

Cap will become the B@D@$$ that he needs to be.
Why does everyone think RDJ is the face of the MCU. Yes he had the first movie which makes him have more movies than everyone else so far but he has no more solo movies lined up. I think we are going to have a transitional period where Hemsworth and Evans become the stars of the MCU.

@jerryblake has an excellant point. Kevin Feige has stated that CA:TWS is the most important film leading into Phase 2 Avengers. Could it be revealed that Arnim Zola is responsible for the creation of Ultron?

Is this supposed to be an Easter Egg? I mean, who didn't notice that Bucky was surrounded by weird equipment and prods (some of it glowing an ominous green)? I don't think there is much more to it than that. No freeze frame required.

Damn this movie is sounding so good. My main gripe with caps protrayal so far is we haven't seen that "one of the top hand to hand fighters in the mu" from cap yet. He didn't have it in TFA. It got a little better in Avengers, but it still looked like BW was more badass. I always get the same feeling I got with wolvie, up until the wolverine. They focus so much on the the shield/claw usage, that they forget that these guys are complete weapons (weapon I and weapon X) and aren't just about throwing shields and swinging claws. Wolvie stepped up in The Wolverine, and now its caps turn.
