This is awesome. The director and producer have great things to say about their film. That's rare.

I thinks it's great (and rare) to see people involved in a film this excited about how it turned out.

@jazzman - Not every director and producer says good things about their movie, look at Babylon AD.

The Shield throwing fight seem was F*CKING AWESOME!!! That action sequence is 100x better than all the action scenes in BB, SR, TDK, and GL combined.

Every clip, scene, etc., from this movie has just looked great.

Only five more days!!!

Actually when listening to producers and directors praising their movie you can actually pick-up if the praise is genuine if you listen carefully between the lines, e.g., when JJ was talking about The Wolfman he says the studio was happy; not that he thought it was great. Of course sometimes a creator can actually think that his stuff is great whilst others may not agree.

Praise for a movie beforehand may be a given, but you can usually tell how they feel by the tone in that praise. Are they focusing on a specific aspect of the film that's inconsequential to the story or actor's performances(special effects: Green Lantern)? Are they going through the motions of promotion? Are they trying to convince themselves that it worked? Be people promote and praise all the time and don't believe a word they're saying and sometimes it shows. It's kind of fun to see the look on someone who can't seem to keep a completely straight face when they know they're promoting garbage. Here are few exceptions to the praise promotion: 1. Michael Bay seemed kind of embarrassed by Revenge of the Fallen. 2. Johnston himself was disappointed with the results of The Wolfman.

Interestingly enough, the only person I've heard speak truthfully without trying to sell it is Chris Evans. Uncertain, genuinely doubtful and not trying to suppress it in interviews. Smiling and looking down and obviously not sure of how it comes together. If he didn't know something, he didn't try to front like he did. Later on he started resiting a few cliche props about the film but that's inevitable. You have to do that.

Hugo kept it pretty real too. I remember a piece where he basically said "I just shot something and I don't know what the [frick] it is. Whatever."

So of course the director and producer are going to hit the usual notes. The cast is great, we miraculously chose the best lead and were doing something technical that no one else has done... yada.

I'll give my own take once I see the film.
