Special thanks to @Tdi7457 for the heads up!
When asked about the first time she met Chris Evans, the actress stated: Yeah, the first time I met Chris was 10 delightful years ago on The Perfect Score. Our story lines didn't cross paths too much. We did have one scene where we had to sing together. I was talking to Chris about it the other day, actually. And then we did The Nanny Diaries and The Avengers. We got to see one another grow in many ways and change. Captain America: The Winter Solider was the first time I had ever worked with him where he was the male lead. Chris is the only actor I can imagine playing the character. He makes something that's stale feel fresh. I don’t know how he does it. When Johansson was asked about the pressure of accepting their Marvel roles, she said: I talked to him a little about it, because I had already signed on to do Iron Man 2. Of course, the pressure wasn't on my shoulders like it was on Chris's. I was playing a character that Marvel was invested in, but we didn't know if the audience was going to be totally behind the Widow at that point. It was like I was dipping my toe in. He was taking the full brunt of the production on his shoulders. It can feel like a gilded cage at times. When the fact was rought up about Evans wanting to direct, Scarlett said: I'm sure he will make a wonderful director. At least, he'll make a great actor's director. He's very curious and he throws the ball back with fervor. He loves to rally the entire group. Even if you're just not having it — "Chris, I've had the longest week of stunts and my body hurts" — he’s like, "All the more reason for you to go out and celebrate!" I think that's probably because he comes from a big family.
After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy — the Winter Soldier.
Starring Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Georges St-Pierre, Hayley Atwell, Toby Jones, Emily VanCamp and Maximiliano Hernández with Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Redford, the film is directed by the Anthony & Joe Russo from a screenplay written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely and is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1941. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing the film. Captain America: The Winter Soldier" is set for release on April 4, 2014.

What?! She is completely ignoring The Nanny Diaries! How can she say that Captain America: The Winter Soldier was the first time that she worked with him where he was the male lead? He acted opposite Johansson in The Nanny Diaries as her love interest. This is quite strange.

Evan will make afresh director. He prob watched the great directors he's worked with over the years and learned. Maybe the Russos have given him some advice. As we can all see, they're great directors. Chris Evans...boss
