Anthony Mackie is the best. Sounds like a true bro based off what the cast said during the press junket interviews

I have issue #117 of Captain America in which Falcon makes his first comic book appearance. I'm willing to let it go.

Who wants to touch me for it?

Hope to see him in Avengers 2, Captain America 3 and Avengers 3. Get the feeling he'll only get a mentioned in Avengers 2 however hopefully Avengers 3 will give us a massive cast consisting of the following (At the least as long as they don't get killed off)

1. Iron Man
2. War Machine
3. Captain America
4. Winter Soldier
5. Falcon
6. Hulk
7. Thor
8. Black Widow
9. Hawkeye
10. Scarlet Witch
11. Quick Silver
12. Vision
13. Ant-Man
14. Wasp
15. Doctor Strange
16. Black Panther

That's what's great about the MCU - we'll eventually end up seeing almost every hero in a movie together. One day we'll eventually see Spider-man teaming up with Wolverine and the Fantastic Four - it will happen - its just a matter of time before Marvel Studios ends up battling with the other companies for the rights to the characters back.

Seeing as the later Avengers films will easily be the highest grossing films ever considering the first is the third-highest grossing film (1.5bn) I can easily see 'Age Of Ultron' getting the second-highest spot regardless of quality - just because of the massive cast of heroes.

@Scar: As much as I would like to see all of those characters in one film, it won't happen. The least it would take is 2 parts (like the last Harry Potter, which was split into 2 parts), with each part being 2 to 2 and a half hours).

@iZinDiaN
Chances are Avengers 3 will probably be split into two films regardless considering how much would need to happen to replicate an 'Infinity Gauntlet' storyline. Even with the Infinity Stones and Thanos introduced you'd still need to have him gather and collect all the stones and the gauntlet - which would involve Asgard, The Guardians Of The Galaxy, etc...

Can easily see it being split with the first focusing on the Avengers banding together trying to stop him collecting the gems - ending with him getting the Gauntlet and dropping Thor's hammer to the ground (Seemingly revealing that Thor was killed) This would give us Thanos taking the gems from the Guardians Of The Galaxy, Killing the Collector and stealing the gems and the gauntlet from Asgard in a climactic battle before the assumed death of one of the main heroes - Thor.

Then part 2 would be a heavily wounded Thor being taken to Earth as a trophy via Thanos. The sole remaining infinity gem in the hands of the Avengers who are desperately fighting to stop Thanos gaining it - however they fail. This sparks the mass group of Avengers into banding together for a final battle against Thanos - where they are killed off one-by-one until Iron Man (Or another hero) gains one of the gems and uses it to alter time reviving the previously killed heroes distracting Thanos long enough for a revived Drax to kill him.

@whysoserious54
Why 7? Avengers AOU already has 10 (Listed below) and that's not including potential new hero cameos like the rumoured Ant-Man cameo.

AOU heroes;
Iron Man, War Machine, Thor, Hulk, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Captain America, Scarlet Witch, Quick Silver and Vision

@ParisSun
Yeah - then after that they do their own versions of the other main arcs such as ordered below;

Avengers Disassembled;
Serving as Avengers 4 this would feature the Avengers essentially falling apart due to a number of mess-ups and due to the lack of a threat or S.H.I.E.L.D to hold them together. After a sabotage attempt involving Hulk from one of their own members, Scarlet Witch, this would lead the Avengers to be forcefully disbanded. It would end with Hulk being exiled forcefully under the command of the president (Revealed to be a Skrull)

Planet Hulk;
Essentially the first in a trilogy of Hulk films.

Secret Invasion;
Serving as Avengers 5 this film would lack 'Hulk' other than a few references and it would delve into the teams trust issues after the Avengers has been disbanded and whether they would actually remain close after they are no longer required to - forced to work together again after a year or so apart in order to discover a conspiracy involving the Skrull.

World War Hulk Part 1 and Part 2 - Split into two films that would serve as the second and third in a Hulk trilogy

Civil War Part 1 and Part 2 - Split into two films that would serve as the sixth Avengers film this would be the last Avengers film adaption of a comic with the film series being rebooted with a new Avengers line-up.

As I've said elsewhere on the new TV Spot thread.....

Just got back from the Midnight Showing here in the U.K.

Wow...... Just WOW!!!!!!!!!!

That! Was! EPPPPPICCCCC!!!!!!!!!!

Guardians (Sorry Guardians), Spider-Man & X-Men have no chance, it's simple..... CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER IS THE COMIC BOOK MOVIE OF THE YEAR!!!!!

If Joss Whedon ever decides to leave Avengers after 3 to move on to other projects, I'd be pretty confident with The Russo Brothers taking over directorial duties on Avengers movies!

Action was great! Comedy was great! (And well timed / placed. Take note SHANE BLACK!) Dialogue was great! The score to the Fight Scenes were perfect! And they even pull on the old Heart Strings early on.

Never had any doubt in the Russo's!

My friend who I went with turned to me & said "Better than Avengers".

Can't quite decide myself if I want to say it's better or that it's equal with Avengers because I love both, but boy was this movie FANTASTIC in every single way!

Already booked in another 2 times at least with different people to see it with & will probably see it a few more before it goes off screens.

Just came back myself from the midnight showing in the UK, got to disagree with the above review a little, sorry just my opinion.

It was ok, not the 5/5 we've been led to believe. Don't get me wrong it is good, it just doesn't live up to hype being spread on here. Probably a 4/5 at best.

There are a couple of things that bugged me:

The Falcon character is just a bit silly and convenient for the plot, he also seems pretty superhuman for a normal guy or just very, very, lucky.

Some of the 'surprising' plot twists are not surprising in the slightest.

Some of the CGI was awful, particularly when they use CGI to put someone else's mouth on another person (old person) it was just plain distracting. Also they show Steve Rogers before he became Cap and the CGI there was not as convincing as in the original film, it was a bit off.

You will also constantly think so why haven't you called Stark or Banner to help? Surely they'd be the first people you'd call in this situation?

Based on what I watched tonight, Cap 3 will get obliterated by Supes v Bats if they were to be out at the same time. Just the opinion of someone who likes both Marvel and DC.

Fair enough if you didn't like it bud, but my opinion is also my own & it was [frick]ing top notch!

And you still gave it a 4/5 so couldn't have been 'That Bad' to you.

;)

Why have color in a comic book movie right guys?
TMW1987ProudProWrestlingFan
TMW1987ProudProWrestlingFan - 3/25/2014, 8:28 PM
And even if Cap 3 is an even more epic movie, it would sill (IMO) get obliterated by Bats vs. Supes because well.......... It's [frick]ing BATMAN & SUPERMAN on screen together for the first time ever! People are gonna eat that Shit up as it's a first & must see & something everybody (Myself included) has been waiting to see.

People have finally seen the Avengers on screen & will have already had their fill with Cap. Batman & Superman together sharing screen time is the next new thing.

Don't care which makes the most money at box office as long as both Cap 3 & Bats vs. Supes are both great films.

I don't know where this film leaves Agents of Shield TV show, some continuity issues may spring up I think!
TMW1987ProudProWrestlingFan
TMW1987ProudProWrestlingFan - 3/25/2014, 8:33 PM
Exactly, people see the ensemble in the Avengers movie s& are like why doesn't such & such come in & help out with this movie, but Marvel will either tie that up with comic book preludes or it's usually somehow explained in movies or even AoS.

That's OK for the comic book readers amongst us, but it is to be expected & is always expected / Discussed among general audience viewers.

I think if they just go along for the ride & not think about why such & such isn't there, you get lost in the moment & the stories more.

Like how most people watching AoS are like where are the Super Heroes, well, guess what, it's not about them, but the human aspect of the people who deal or work with them.

And hopefully with what goes down in this movie is about to hopefully take that show & shake things the up!

Here, Here, Batmaniac, totally agree with that comment, definitely deserves to join the Billion Dollar club more so than Iron Man 3 so I hope you people buy the Shit out of Tickets for this!

I may just even go see it once on an IMAX 3D Screen just to chuck more money at it!

I like what i see from The Falcon and it seems he seems to shine in the trailers and tv spots which is good because it adds so much to a character that's not widely respected or acknowledged in the comics. That's what i love about Marvel they make comic book characters more interesting and keeps the audiences invested in there characters.

Since there is problems with SHIELD in this film it would probably explain as to why there was no presence of SHIELD in IM3 and The Dark World.
