A couple of new shots of Chris Evans in his Captain America: The First Avenger costume have found their way online, and while they're pretty small, they're also pretty awesome...

Thanks to a heads up from 'Tim Harris', we have these two new images which are featured on the back of the official Captain America: The First Avenger calendar available for pre-order on Amazon.co.uk. Unfortunately, the other 10 months are all pictures we've seen before, but it hopefully won't be too long until Marvel release the following in a far more satisfying hi-res format.





With an all star cast which includes Chris Evans as Captain America, Sebastian Stan as Bucky, Hugo Weaving as Red Skull, Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter, Tommy Lee Jones as Col. Chester Phillips, Stanley Tucci as Abraham Erskine and Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark, Captain America: The First Avenger will be released in 3D on July 22, later this year!

Personally can't wait for this film however i can't see this film doing as well as the likes of Thor,Ironman etc for the one reason there is not much intrest overseas for this character. In USA its going to rocket to number 1 but everywhere else i think its going to struggle to bring in crowds.

Marvel hasnt promoted it in the lastest month.

Surely, after the First Class release the heavy promotion will start.

@CaptainProg for x men first class just piece together the clips and pics and there you have it most of the film they show way too much let fans speculate and be suprised.

@deadpool813 im sorry but his really not, I don't agree with it at all but people i have talked to so far when i have said i can't wait for Captain america the majority have turned round and said in basic terms i'm not going to watch a film which is going to shove American patriotism down are throats. When i try and tell them thats not what his about they don't listen and unfortunatly thats the general feel about it from the average person.

I wouldnt worry guys. Cap will do well everywhere else. It'll do well in England for sure. We love Cap out here!
He's one of the oldest superheroes out there and peeps realsie that. Just because he's uber american doesnt make too much of a difference, he's the closest thing to a real human like hero we have, it doesnt make a diff wheres he's from.
By that account everyone apart from americans should hate superheroes because we all know superheroes come from america LOL!

But seriously...we need a second trailer..or ill really start to worry about this. When xmen was in this stage i worried because everything looked a bit crummy coming from that camp but after re-shoots and touch ups...it looks the bomb! Hope the same happens with Cap yo!

Agree with CC here, the pic are in low res and when its in low res its kind of boring. Yes, he looks boring in these pics because it has no details, no freaking new things and that disappoint me. We have already seen these kind of pics. We need something new!!

I'm REALLY stoked for this movie, but I'm afraid they're setting it up for failure the same exact way they set The Incredible Hulk up for failure! In that case they released Iron Man a month or so before TIH. They promoted the hell out of IM, but didn't really start pushing TIH until like 2 weeks before it came out to theaters! People didn't have time to think "Holy shit I wanna see this movie!" which is sad because TIH was an awesome movie! Now Thor has been out a few weeks, and they're STILL promoting it. Where's Cap's next trailer? Should we expect to see it in early July? WTF? This is the problem with releasing 2 CBMs from the same company only a couple months apart. Can't market one efficiently while the other is still in theaters!
