Still here? I think you'll agree, even though the image doesn't mean that ol' Jim Gordon is definitely buying the farm, things don't look too good for one of Batman's closest allies. But would they really kill off Gordon? Well, we have been told to expect some major shocks in this "Death Of The Family" crossover event, and it wouldn't get much more shocking than that. Anyway, guess we'll find out later on today - or not! Comic Vine don't say so, but I have a feeling this may be the final page of the issue.

I don't think they would kill off a major character of Batman's mythos like Gordon, but these days you never know. It would leave a great hole in Batman's life.

This story is shaping up well. Love it when you really don't know whats coming next.

On a side note - You can now buy graphic novels and issues of DC and Marvel comics on the ibooks app. Incase you wanted to keep all your comics and non comic books in one place. Tried it with Green Lantern and it worked fine.

Does it really matter who dies or is paralyzed? They'll be fine or revived in a years time.

Hmmm so thats what Gordon would look like as a zombie. His hand looks huge, well at least the distance from his thumb to his index finger. I don't think people bleed that much, look that pale and menacing and still live but who knows its DC.

Batman looks pale like the Joker. It would be very shocking and interesting if Gordon was stabbed to death by the person he trusted (Batman)
The Joker could exploit that

Just finished reading it. Lets just say Joker has the upper hand. Batman's worst fear about the Joker has come true. Everyone is in trouble.

@IgnurRant It's all part of the ride

Somebody has got to do something. This is crazy. Damien and Joker should fight to the death and they both die. If we the readers had a chance to kill Jason Todd I think we should have a chance at kill Damien.

That would be such an awesome and sad scene. Think of it, Gordon running to Batman for help after all the stuff that happens to his wife and daughter, and when he approaches him he gets the unpleasant surprise of the knife. He would have never seen it coming.

Holy shit that gave me an idea, Imma write a graphic novel now:P

Batman needs to do something. MORE than laughing your ass off with the Pycho after paralyzing Barabara and attempting to make Gordon insane.

If Damien dies, he can be easily replaced. Talia has another Damien clone gestating in a tank as we speak. And, the original Damien was grown in artificial womb to be the genetic perfect version of both Talia and Bruce Wayne (using both of their DNA's finest qualities).

Damien

So, for those of you that want Damien dead, love him or hate him. They will always have a replacement-Damien waiting in the wings.

However, as Cipher points out, killing off another series regular take balls. I can't see them cloning Jim or Alfred to bring them back.

well idk now. i just finished the ones that came out today and SPOILER - joker has the best of everyone. He knows who they all are. He has batman tied up, got nightwing caught in an explosion, kidniapped alfred, kidnapped mrs gordon (and cut her finer off), proposed to batgirl(w/ her moms ring on finger), hanged harley, made gordon bleed out like crazy, so idk....im going to go crazy waiting for the next issues. this is why i usually wait to read an arc til its complete. grrrr. WHO WILL DIE? alfred? gordon? harley? maybe no one dies maybe he just successfully breaks up he bat-family hence death of the family. or maybe they go the route of arkham city and joker hiself dies? also i kinda hope somehow deadshot comes back and saves harley....
