I think when they say the delay foe is revealed I am assuming that is meant revealed to the JL, as the audience already know that it is Graves.

Wish Shazam would just have gotten his own comic! I'm liking his story more than JL at the moment

@ScarSpeedster He probably will, I think they are putting with JL as a test, because of the tweak in the character, to see how it is received. If goes well, which it seems to be (As I like the changes) then will get his own book. If not then, well they have't lost anything by having to cancel his own series.

I am tired of Jim Lee's art.

Question about Shazam, since his name is now Shazam does he change now by shouting it? As that could be quite awkward if he is introducing himself to a new villian and changes to his mortal form.

Those of you that are complaining about the art are nuts! This is great! Awesome Kirby Krackle, nice and clean where it needs to be too. This is Jim Lee at his best.

I'm just now getting to the new 52, I tried to start when it began. Anyway, got the first 6 issues of Justice League, I'm going to continue reading that. I'm also going to get caught up with Batman(of course). Also got the first 6 issues of Green Lantern Corps and the first issue of "I Vampire" is on the way. Other titles I will read are: Aquaman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, and Swamp Thing. May also check out Blue Beetle.

@HavocPrime It has not yet been revealed. Although I reckon he will still need to call upon Shazam to become, er, Shazam. I guess it is like Thor's hammer, every time he lifts it lighting doesn't strike, so there has to be some thought or intend when saying it.

@Marvel87 Like Marvel and any other publisher there are good books and bad books. Green Lantern, Batman, Action Comics, Aquaman and Justice League have all been the ones I have been reading from DC, now despite a couple of issues being below par, so far I would say, in my opinion that those books have been enjoyable to read so far. i have heard Flash and Wonder Woman are good reads too.

@Knightrider Yea, besides Batman, those other books I listed, I heard nothing but great things about them. Especially I Vampire & Wonder Woman. Batman, it was automatically a must to check out all the Batman titles.

I wouldn't worry about the other Batman titles outside Scott Snyders Batman, which is just nailing the character perfectly in my opinion. The Dark Knight book is just horrible if you haven't already read it.

@knightride yeah I completely agree with u, snyder has Batman down, where the others just keep falling short.

Y'all don't like Batman Incorporated??
Knightrider
Knightrider - 6/26/2012, 5:56 PM
@Marvel87 Na not really, but if I am honest I have never really been a fan of having anyone outside Bruce Wayne as Batman. Bruce is capable of being Batman because of the drive and determination that stems from the tragedy of losing both his parents as a small child. To essentially go "Anyone can be Batman, as long as they know a bit of Kung-Fu and have a bit of funding" actually, in my opinion, takes a heck of a lot away from Batman himself. How he has devoted his life to this un-winnable cause to clear his city of crime.

However some people like it others don't I am not a fan.

@Knightrider I get what you're saying. It's kinda like all the different Hulks out there. Marvel needs to do a House of M(or in this case, a House Of Gamma.lol) on the Hulk characters. There's too many of them and I can't stand the Red Hulk!

Now I'm not a Superman fan at all but how is Action Comics? I see it getting good reviews yet the fans either like it or don't...

@Marvel87 I personally like Action Comics, but at the same time, the parts where Morrison goes off into another story are annoying. I am not talking about between 2 independent story arcs, I mean issues 5 and 6 I believe just interrupt the main story for no reason whatsoever.

I like the fact that in the latest issue at least, he has questioned as to why the JL, haven't stopped wars, or famine and how he believes they should be more of a beacon of hope, which is done all while he is still standing up for the common man. Overall I have liked it. Art wise I will say it isn't the greatest, which is a shame.

Yeah too many Hulks, members of the Bat family and so on. I personally understand why there are "Boy" and "Woman" and "Girl" versions of comic book characters, it is to reach a wider demographic, but for me personally, I hate it.

I don't mind a shared universe, where all the heroes meet (Avengers / JLA) However for me, i have hated that Superman isn't technically the last of his race, I don't mind Zod as he is a polar opposite, but it takes away so much from the character to have these other Kryptonians running around wearing the 'S'

Same with Batman Inc, we lose that essence about the character, when it has been their life experiences that make them push themselves that extra 10%, when no one else would, because they haven't had that tragedy, but then turns out anyone can be Batman with a bit of Wayne funding?

Hulk is the same, Spider-Man too both have their 'Spin-offs'

There is part of me that would like both companies to release a series of comics essentially labelled 'Core' Marvel/DC. These comics would just have the basic heroes, no spin-off characters of themselves, just the essential.

As the other issue with all these spin-off and extra characters, is why is there any crime, like anywhere with all these Superheros, they easily outnumber super villains, and it isn't like Super Villains or events happen even day, so in-between attacks 1000 superheroes should be able to stop most if not all going down.

So turned into a bit of rant there. haaha

why do all the new 52 villains have some sort of like smoke or energy fire coming off of them?

For those of you complaining about Jim Lee's art remember this fact, an inker can make a difference to the final look of the art. I still see good clean lines and can tell it's JLs, but if you read the first page credits you see he has three different inkers on this issue. Some inkers work mesh better with certain pencillers art than others and effect the overall outcome. You have to see him pencil and ink his own work to say if he has lost his edge.
JLA seems to be getting better, Morrison can be brilliant at times but I think he's better on individual titles than the team books.

@SteveRogersSon,
If you look at Morrison's whole history, not just now and I agree with you about InACTION comics not good.
