"This all started when Matthew Vaughn and I were talking about 'Casino Royale' a couple of years back in the pub between breaks on 'Kick-Ass.' We loved the movie, but wondered why they didn't do all the stuff where he learned how to be James Bond. We've both got a couple of friends in special forces, both here and in the US, and even the real life training, without any artistic license, is really incredible set-piece stuff. If you ramp it up a little, it makes for some incredible scenes in a comic and in a movie. 'The Secret Service' is about a number of things, but one of the central thrusts is about a young, wayward hoodie kid from North London learning how to be James Bond."

Sounds like an interesting enough premise, eh? The Secret Service #1 goes on sale later this year.

I'm so tired of the stereotypical Millar project. Basic story plot thrown in with a twist and a lot of violence, hell, I could write comics.

I like all of Millar's ideas. But this sounds uninteresting to me. I'll pass on this one. But I still like Millar's other work.

Looks to me like their targets are given codenames of scifi cast members. I'm assuming the four that got killed in the artwork are the Doctor Who cast. One guy looks a bit like Tom Baker (Gibson did Doctor Who comics before) And the main guy looks like Roger Delgado with no hair. The guy in the back with the moustache could be the late Nicholas Courtney. I am not a Mark Millar fan and will prob skip this.
