I don't know about you, but I think these issues are losing the punch the first issues of Big Time had. With that said, how does this issue fare? Read on.

This issue concludes Spidey's adventure with the FF. The Sinister Six are back, and they have a plan. Doc Ock I've always liked, so I'm glad he's taking center charge in this series. The other members, however, don't really bring much to the table.

I know the Spidey series shouldn't be as dark as say Daredevil, but I'm not really a big fan of this light-hearted throwback to the 60's era.

The art is one of the good things about the issue. Especially in the backup stories.

I think Slott knows he seriously messed up Carlie, so he tries to redeem her in this comic. (Hint: she didn't get a Goblin tattoo.) I still don't like her.

We also get another prelude to the upcoming Spider-Island event. Now I see where they're going with this. If handled properly, this event might just be the most drama we've encountered in this series.

The Ghost Rider backups have been a very fun part of this arc. I'm kinda sad to to see them go. When that demon guy said that Ghost Rider will bring fire to the earth, could that be a signal to an upcoming event?

In closing, this issue was a good one. Not great though. I want to see some hardcore Spidey stories. I mean, he's heading next issue to the Avengers Academy to teach the young heroes the ropes. (What?)

I give this issue a 3/5.

good review as always dude. I agree, they are just toying around with Spider-man going around from team to team just giving them really nothing in terms of addition. I want to see his crime fighting life without spider-sense, if it ever returns, that would be cool. I do think Slott made a huge blunder and a giant misstep with the Carlie, yet Peter is still guilty for not being more truthful about his whereabouts without having to tell her he is Spider-man. I still think she has potential but needs to lighten up on her emotions and over thinking just a bit.
