Silent Hill: Revelation 3D is based on the acclaimed survival horror videogame franchise by KONAMI and is the sequel to Hadida and Carmody's earlier Silent Hill directed by Christophe Gans. For years, Heather Mason (Clemens) and her father have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn't fully understand. Now on the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by terrifying nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she's not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her in Silent Hill forever.

Starring Adelaide Clemens, Kit Harington, Radha Mitchell, Sean Bean, Carrie-Anne Moss and Malcolm McDowell, Silent Hill: Revelation is set to hit theatres on October 26, 2012.

This series peaked at number 2. And nothing against female leads in games (I love playing Tomb Raider) but this series always seems better with a male lead.

omg there was something real creepy about playing these games on ps1...think it had to do with the ps1 logo sound then you jump right into this stuff / same with resident evil game use to scare the pants off me and my buddies huddled in the basement with the lights off... and no we didn't gay it up! lol

I agree with @teabag. The first film was the best Video Game adaptation.

Whew! This looks awesome! I love the first movie!

It made my friends and family who aren't gamers feel the same sense of dread and expose them to the disturbing imagery I loved about the games.

The film is MUCH truer to the game it's based on compared to Paul W.S. Anderson's interpretation of the Resident Evil games.

You guys ever watched the special features on the 'Silent Hill' DVD/blu-ray?

The dancers cast to play the nurses are some gorgeous, curvy women. Nothing like a great bust and great legs. Oh Lawdy.

Brilliant. At least one survival horror franchise is doing well. They should get the resident evil franchise, fix those please before Milla ruins them further.

Kind of similar feel to the angel statues in Dr. Who. At least, that is what it reminded me of. Pretty cool.
