Tim Miller Talks DEADPOOL Deleted Scenes

Director Tim Miller dishes on the numerous deleted scenes that could appear on the Deadpool blu-ray/DVD. "In particular, there was a bar scene that was too vulgar for even the R-rated Deadpool." What exactly did Ryan Reynolds and T.J. Miller say during this scene?

Deadpool arrives in theaters February 12 but director Tim Miller and actor T.J. Miller are already talking blu-ray /DVD extras.  It sounds like there was a big action scene that had to be cut down and a boatload of vulgar jokes that were simply too extreme for theatrical release.  Perhaps they'll show up as deleted scenes?

"There was a bunch of stuff, honestly, an extended version [of a fight with] a couple more beats of violence there that I liked,"
stated Tim Miller.  He continued, "In particular, there was a bar scene that was too vulgar for even the R-rated Deadpool.  That bar scene was particularly mean and offensive to a lot of people because T.J. and Ryan got together and wrote a version of the scene that we just said, 'Oh my God, this is too far.' I mean there were so many people offended it would have really been - we couldn't do it. It was just mean and so I said, 'No. We don't have to do that.'"  T.J. Miller added, "We did kind of go back and forth and it just got more and more hateful.  Ryan's a very, very good improvisor, and he's very funny and, like, one of the sweetest guys. It was very... heavy duty."
