No one can deny that the groundwork to an Avengers movie has been firmly established by Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk. With the soon to be released Captain America and Thor films, I have no doubt that a successful unification of the Marvel movie Universe has begun.
But how will they tie in the rest of the characters that have already been portrayed on the silver screen? Who can realistically bring Spider-Man, the Punisher, Wolverine and Ghost Rider into the equation? There is an obvious answer: The Man Without Fear! Just take at look at these possibilities for the movie:
- Spider-Man and Daredevil have been close friends for many years, sharing a common enemy in Electro and even knowing each other’s secret identities.
- Daredevil saves the Black Widow after she is held hostage by Bullseye.
- Daredevil has tried repeatedly to stop the punisher from executing mob bosses in Hell’s Kitchen.
- After Bulleye’s brutal defeat by Daredevil, his shattered bones were replaced with an adamantium skeleton by Lord Dark Wind (sound familiar?).
Allow me to present my casting for a Daredevil movie, which should be the next step for Marvel Studios following The Avengers movie.
