"The Fantastic Four: Doomsday" is basically the first part of many more to come in both a Marvel Cinematic Universe continuity and FF films in general. I decided to keep the story back to the basics really with just two villains, and the Fantastic Four themselves.
Matthew Goode as Dr. Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic: A main influence of doing this fan cast was too introduce a new name for Reed Richards, because I feel like all I see is campaigns for Jon Hamm, Billy Crudup and others. Goode could really pull something great off, even if he is not a great actor in general.
Amy Smart as Susan Storm/The Invisible Woman: One of the reasons I like Amy Smart for Sue is that she has a likeability about her that is needed for this character, and I also wanted an actress that could realistically be viewed as someone in the field with Reed. Please, in real life a Megan Fox caricature would never have the job Sue has.
David Gallagher as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch: David Gallagher in my opinion has all the right capabilities needed for Johnny.
Derek Mears as Ben Grimm/The Thing: At first I was looking at real actors but I eventually came to the decision that you can have basically anyone play Ben Grimm, and im not even saying Mears is a bad actor. Just not great.
Andrew Lincoln as Dr. Victor von Doom/Doctor Doom: Come on, you know Andrew Lincoln would be phenomenal at best in this role.
John Malkovich as Phillip Masters/Puppet Master: Malkovich is highly overrated for bald comic book roles but what the hell. You know he would be able to play the role with ease.
Sunny Mabrey as Alicia Masters: "Snakes on a Plane" girl. Yep, why not. Alicia Masters was originally going to be saved for a sequel but I decided since her stepdad is now in here I kinda have to introduce her.
Benjamin Bratt as Tony Stark: As a foreshadowing of Tony Stark eventually becoming Iron Man, I decided to throw him in this to make it further connected to other series. Do you like Bratt as Stark though? If not, give your thoughts on who else could do it. (NOT RDJ).
