I know some people didn't like the New Avengers story but i found it to be very thoroughly entertaining. Here's who I'd like to see in a live action movie:
Aaron Eckhart as Captain America(Steve Rogers)
The guy has the chin structure and acting chops to pull off Wing Tips. I've liked Eckhart since I first saw him in Thank You For Smoking and would've loved to see him next to RDJ and Hemsworth.
Chris Pine as Captain America(Bucky Barnes)
The guy has the right look. He wouldn't be my first choice for Steve, mainly because Steve needs to be an older fellow. In my opinion anyways. And I saw this on Josh's fancast from last year and I couldn't refuse.
Dylan McDermott as Iron Man
I know, the guy's a relative no-namer, but I can tell just by looking at his face, he can pull off the doucheswagger Stark so often displays.
Karl Urban as Wolverine
Karl Urban is scruffy enough. And I'm fairly certain if he dropped his voice to almost a murmur, he could pull off what Wolverine oughta sound like.
Michael Jai White as Luke Cage
Granted, he's not the tallest guy to play good ol' Power Man, but this guy has the intensity to pull it off AND go toe to toe in a match of wits with Webhead.
Topher Grace as Spider-man
You may be asking "WHY?! WHY OH WHY?!". Two words. Eric. Forman. Topher is known for being a smartass. He fits the bill for our beloved Peter Parker. Skinny, cut, and a wiseass. He's no Venom!
Patrick Wilson as Hawkeye/Ronin(Clint Barton)
I like Renner as Hawkeye, but I think Wilson could bring a little bit more to the table in terms of acting. Renner is great, don't get me wrong, but Wilson seems like he would fit in better.
Garrett Hedlund as Iron Fist
I could DEFINITELY see Hedlund as Danny Rand. Give him some karate lessons, get him a little more buffed up and there you'll have your Iron Fist.
Lyndsy Fonseca as Spider-Woman
I love Lyndsy in Kick-Ass. She's freaking gorgeous. And I don't know why, but when I think of Spider Woman (when I'm all alone in my bed), Lyndsy pops into my head. She was made for this.
Alice Eve as Ms. Marvel
It was a match made in Marvel heaven.
Autumn Reeser as Mockingbird
Autumn is a great actress, albeit a little underrated and overlooked. And it doesn't hurt that she's a foxy lady. Perfect for the ass-kicking role of Mockingbird.
I didn't see any reason to put villains in here. Might do one of those later on. Hope you enjoyed my first fan cast!
