I had so much fun with my 1970's TV star X-Men fancast I decided to do another one. This time it's the 1980's Justice League TV Show, So NO MOVIE STARS, just actors from sitcoms, variety shows, and tv celebrities from 1980 to 1989. Here we go. Feel free to add to the list or make some changes because it's stupid and funny. Enjoy.

.......Out of all of them, not digging Loni Anderson as PG and Gary Coleman as Gorilla Grodd (he was too young at the time). And by the way, the name of the guy who plays Max Headroom is Matt Frewer.

I like Selleck as Batman. If a Dark Knight Returns movie were made, he's still be perfect for the role now. Also, love Danson as Green Lantern.

I took certain liberties with Gary Coleman and Power Girl doesn't seem right after I looked at it but it was too late. I know who Matt Frewer is, I forgot to put his name in there. Ken Wahl is a damn good 80's Superman i think.

I hate to say this but anything with david hasselhoff is really going going to suck, but beside that great fan cast.

I shouldn't. My buddy picked that one. He's black. I thought that mean grimace Gary has was a very dramatic stare. If anyone says anything about it, then they maybe a little racist, not me.

A mustache Batman would be pretty cool to see. I mean really, do we really want to imagine Tom Shellecks without his stache? That would be like having Chuck Norris cut off his beard.

I agree with axlkomix-Tom Selleck could still be an older Bruce Wayne perhaps in a Batman Beyond.

I dont mind Tom Selleck for batman but I just don't like the Michael J Fox pick,he may have the attitude for robin but he's too old for tht in the 80's. He would be a better green lantern though. Hal Jordan.

It's 1980's TV stars as Justice League characters ANY CHARACTER, not 1980's Justice League characters as TV stars. I dare anyone to do better! Fun ain't it?

Look, I point this out because your fancasts are period-specific from the looks of it. Therefore they'd have to adhere to which characters had been around at the time, and not include those who were created later. To take up your challenge, I'd recast Justine Bateman as Zatanna, and of course you forgot Martian Manhunter. So, here are my additions to your cast:
-Justine Bateman as Zatanna
-Adrian Zmed as Vibe
-LeVar Burton as Martian Manhunter
-Jason Bateman as Firestorm
-Michael Biehn as Deathstroke
-Billy Zabka as Commander Steel/Hank Heywood

-Bob Saget as the Atom (Ray Palmer)
-Scott Bakula as Elongated Man

Glad you considered those choices. And it's funny you put Nell Carter in as Waller, because ironically, on the 1990's Spider-Man cartoon, she was the voice of Glory Grant (for some reason they didn't have Betty Brant).
What did you think of some of the other ideas I put?

I like just about all of them just trying to match them up with the tv shows so I can keep it 80's.

I forgot one more character--Green Arrow. I'd cast Don Johnson as GA, and put Dwight Schultz in as Sinestro. Also, I'd swap out Loni Anderson for...well, let's just go with Linda Hamilton for now.
