Welcome To The Show! In this spooky Halloween edition of REEL START, I will feature my first horror-themed video, "A NIGHTMARE BEFORE ELM STREET". I know the film didn't generate that much of a positive perspective, but it still stands as my favorite of both the franchises, one of my favorite crossover films. This was going to be the basis for my inspiration to do a Ghostbusters video, as well as one based on A Scanner Darkly, but superstition and personal love for those films prevented me from doing so, in a few years after GB3 finally arrives, then I might do a Ghostbusters video. The same thing happened with Constantine, I never got around to that one because I would have ended up using only A Perfect Circle's Passive or their cover of Imagine, and why tread where so many people have been already before? Also, in the future I would LOVE to absolutely do a few videos with Nine Inch Nails, Poets Of The Fall, Shinedown, and Black Light Burns, to name a few of my favorites. KISS might be a little more tricky..

So, for this particular video, I immediately had a song in mind specifically for it, and the perfect choice was Marilyn Manson, with his song, "Fifteen", a number he himself have referenced for years through his music career. This is by far one of my favorite songs of his, if not for actually being THE favorite, and one of his most recent pieces off his most recent album, 'The High End Of Low'. So, basically, all of Marilyn Manson's music makes me think of Freddy, mostly because the attitude and tone of the view in the songs really feels like his personality and emotional vibe, or lack there-of, whichever you prefer.

All in all, this video was all about making fun with what I had and just doing something a bit out of the ordinary then the set vision of what I wanted going into it, I just let everything kind of flow together and gel like it perfectly did.. So, with that said, thank you all for reading and watching, and ENJOY!

Thank You for your time, Gus Galaxy.

Youtube thankfully has NOT disabled embedding on this video either, UNLIKE a few others, which I am thinking of putting up a special edition REAL START just for the non-embed-able type video's soon, just posting the titles, and even the descriptions, along with the URLs. Let me know your thoughts on this so I know it worked out alright, feedback is encouraged!
