This is my First try so give me a break!
I think Mark Millar's First Arc in the Ultimate X-men would be ideal for a movie. I wouldn't copy everything from it but I would use a lot of it. I would use the same heroes and villains. I think I would leave Wolverine starting as a villain out of the story, just so non comic fans don't get confused. I would include the Sentinels and defiantly have one X-man trade on the Team and then return to help at the end. Cyclops had this role but I don't think it has to be him.
Cyclops is the Core of the X-men. He is more of the Back bone than the Prof.
If you have ever seen Josh in Las Vegas, he is perfect. He is calm,cool and knows when to lead.
Laim is an amazing actor. He has the looks and the Voice for Prof.X.
Sam has proved he has the acting chops and action skills. If he can do the accent, he was born for this part.
I saw the video of this kid trying out for Spider-man. He seems like he has got a lot of heart and humor. I think he can bring Bobby alive as the youngest X-men.
For me a young Beast is so hard to cast. Luckly I thought long and hard and I thought Christian Kane would nail the part. He would look great has a non blue or even blue Beast.
I seen a lot of people cast Rachel as Jean. And I love it. She looks hot and can capture the tough role of holding this team together
Zoe is such a fun actress to watch and I would like her to make Storm a little more fun to watch. Storm has always been bland to me but I think Zoe can make her stand out. I would take her from the 616,not so much the Ultimate Storm.
Wolverine is one of my favorite character's ever, so that makes him so hard to cast. I love Hugh but I wanted to keep these castings original. I think Butler has the look and intensity to be Logan. His role in 300 should be enough to sell the part of Wolverine.
With this movie I would keep the core villains who were in the Ultimate Series first arc. Sabretooth had a different role but I am sure you can squeeze him in or wait for the Sequel
Karl Urban is big and mean looking. If they wanted to throw him in the first movie Urban would fit perfectly.
Now for the Brotherhood
I hate that Magneto has to be so old to make it work but the only older actor who can fill that presence is General Zod himself. Stamp would knock this role out of the park.
I believe having Magneto's children in the movie adds a nice Dynamic. Norman is stubborn in the Walking dead and a bad ass in Boondock Saints. Mix those two together and you have Magnetos son
Eva Green is Beautiful and looks like she can play the mystical Gypsy
Jessi Simpson is a creep in most roles,yet incredibly likable. him playing Toad just makes sense.
Mark Strong is on my list of every movie I cast. He is such a good actor and his characters are so different. I can see Master Mind being the Magneto's go to guy. Master mind would have to be played wise and dark and for Strong it would be a piece of cake.
Okay that was my first shot! Please give me feedback. I hope I did a good Job. I plan on doing a lot more of these and would like to hear what you guys think.
