FANTASTIC FOUR Cast Talk Costumes, Catchphrases, 'Invisible Woman' & 'The Thing' Hooking Up

When Miles Teller (Mr. Fantastic), Kate Mara (Invisible Woman), Michael B. Jordan (Human Torch) and Jamie Bell (The Thing) sat down with MTV's Josh Horowitz to chat about Josh Trank's Fantastic Four reboot, the conversation went in an... interesting direction! Take a look...

So, when can we expect Invisible Woman and The Thing's first date then? Actually it turns out Jamie Bell is just joking about after being asked what we might get from any potential future story-lines. In fact, the foursome spend pretty much the entire interview taking the piss -- but a few interesting tidbits also slip though.

When asked if we'll see more comic-friendly costumes at some point in the movie, Kate Mara says yes... but Miles Teller then seems to suggest that what we see the team wearing in the new trailer will be their final outfits. Will we hear The Thing's "it's clobberin' time" battle cry or Johnny Storm shout "flame on" as he transforms in the Human Torch? No definitive answers, but based on Bell and Jordan's reactions I'd say it's a safe bet!

FANTASTIC FOUR, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.

Directed by Josh Trank, The Fantastic Four reboot stars Miles Teller as Mr. Fantastic, Michael B. Jordan as the Human Torch, Kate Mara as Invisible Woman, and Jamie Bell as the Thing. The film is scheduled for release on August 7, 2015.

Currently reading the Zombie story ark from the Ultimate Fantastic Four run and I gotta say it's pretty good. If they went that route for the sequel/crossover I wouldn't even be mad. It would honestly be a cool way for the rights to revert back to Marvel if they ever wanted ton explain the parallel earths and etc.

""I am going to laugh when the critics praise this more than AOU!""

Brace yourself! They will use the box office numbers of Avengers 2 to make it look superior.

why does that dude Miles dress and act like Conway Twitty in this interview... jus askin

and are audiences gonna buy the fact that Ben is Reed's protector if the actor is so much shorter and skinnier than him? it'd be like Dewey from Malcolm in the Middle protecting the guy from Boy Meets World.

Here are the cards that Marvelites always play.....

1. Marvel has a shared universe!!!!

2. All MCU movies are critically acclaimed on RT!!!!!

3. avengers is the top grossing CBM!!!!

Well number one is going away next year and number 2 is on the brink of falling as well!

Well there is always the box office to brag about!

I remember when X-Men: DOFP came out the Marvel Studios fanboys were like "Oh reviews and Rotten Tomatoes scores don't matter."

But then when Guardians came out they were going [frick]ing crazy over the reviews. And the MCU fanboy's were rubbing in the face to the DC guy's and FOX guy's that the movie did not "Suck."

I love how people rag on Fox and Sony regarding the rights yet it was Marvel who sold them off like a 50 cent hooker!

THEY ARE JOKING! SHEESH.

I swear some of you need to grow the [frick] up. Instead of focusing on the potential the film has story wise, y'all argue and bitch about superficial things such as costumes or race.

It really goes to show just how childish and immature a majority of you are.

Honestly guys, I think we should chill from the Rotten Tomato scores for AoU. Even though I know how good it must feel for people to shove it in the faces of those who always use it to bash other people's comic book movies of interest it is the individualistic opinions we all have/had towards the film that matter in the end. Now I've for one seen the film and I have both of my acclaims and my disappointments in regards to the way some of the things play out. I always say kill people with silence. Everyone knows the epic, good, bad and ugly reviews AoU is getting from both critics and fans alike. If they like the film in the end let them like it you know?

Heck, I enjoyed the Wolverine (and the Unrated Cut even more) and I believe that film got like a 69% (if I'm correct) rating on RT. Even Man of Steel is still a great movie in my eyes for trying to be pretty different from it's previous films by actually giving superman some "super" battles against his antagonist. While there may have been some questionable dialogue pieces and even more questionable pacing I think it got the job done at being a good kick off starting point for the DCCU.

Fantastic Four looks like it's bringing something totally different to the table and I feel like as if it's differentiality from other action packed blockbusters debuting this summer will give it more attention as August nears. I'm already predicting that we will have comments pertaining to the film being too "boring" and "serious" because it'll give audiences something more to think about than just being temporarily entertained. I could be wrong and the film could totally flip the coin towards what I Josh Trank and others have been hyping it up to be, but I'll most certainly give it a shot. After reading the comic book run there are some things I wish that they had incorporated into this film and there are some things I'm glad they took inspiration for within making this film. With a budget of $122million (if I'm correct) it's impossible for it to become a flop and I really hope people take note of this now because it'll honestly come back to bite some folks later.
