@hellboy6666 - Arnold didn't dissolve into any character, he can play Arnold Scharznegger and nothing more in every role he got. He was a fanboy Conan the Barbarian, he was not the character from the books in any way shape or form. He was a visually good to look at terminator but when he opened his mouth he failed to deliver what a computerized automation should be able to present in a recognizable voice.

The whole bad Austrian accent thing is something only fanboys with a hard on for Arnies superhero physique looked past. Every other rational person steered clear of his cheesy performances. When you look at how much he movies made individually, you realize they were not all as big a success as most fans thought they were and that's because the majority of them were shit headed by a shit actor. If it wasn't for James Cameron he'd be nothing and since he's returned to trying to act on screen again nothing he's done other than the ensemble work on Expendables, has made any impact at the box office.

Let's think about his achievements,Arnie has achieved nearly every level of "power"
any man can think of:

-Physical Power-The man in his prime was a physical specimen that came through hard work,he lifted heavy & smart.
Steroids?..yea,who bodybuilds without them? No one & he intimidated everyone around him.
-Mental Power-He's a highly intelligent guy,as a young man he wanted to be a rich & famous actor.
Looking & sounding like he did made it seem impossible. Not for him,he attached himself with the right people,studied hard & coming from where he did to Hollywood takes smarts & willpower like few have.
-Financial Power-He got wealthy way before his films took him to one of the biggest stars alive. He was involved in California real estate back when it was cheaper to buy property,he amassed some nice coin..again,he's smart.
Then he made more smart decisions in his film career & became crazy rich,not a fluke people.
-Political Power-Arnold became Governor of California,a state that's like it's own country. Hell,most other countries are easier to run. He was a Republican in the most Democratic state too,wasn't his fault it wasn't a perfect fit. He still did it.
Plus,he married political royalty,his ex-wife is related to the Kennedy's.
Yea,he messed up his marriage by banging his ugly housekeeper so that brings us to..
-BALLS,yep that's real power. Arnold always does things his way. Few men can truly admit they do what they want,when they want...Arnold can & does,for better or worse. The guy is a legend.

Face it guys,Arnold is a bad ass motherfvcker...End.
