Below is the first look at John Barrowman's character on The CW's Arrow, which debuted this Wednesday. However, we still don't know the character's name or backstory. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that he will appear in episode 5 called "Damaged". In the second photograph, he is seen speaking to Oliver's mother, Moira. Is he connected to the big reveal at the end of Wednesday's episode? Don't forget that Barrowman's character code name at the moment is still "The Well-Dressed Man" who "is as mysterious as he is wealthy" as well as "an acquaintance of the Queen family and a prominent figure in Starling City". Arrow will replay tonight at 8pm on The CW. The premiere earned a 1.3 rating in it's 18-49 demographic, the biggest CW opener since The Vampire Diaries.

I set up John Barrowmans mortgage about 4 or 5 years ago, he got paid more for doing panto Jack and The Beanstalk than he did being in the early episodes of Dr Who. His wage went up a hell of a lot for Touchwood and the other Dr Who episodes.
Thing that made me laugh the most was his passport picture, he was really young looking with long curtain style haircut. He looked very silly!
A few months after that, my mate got to set up Nick Caves "holiday home" mortgage... he won that contest...

@Robin, you do realize that the CW is a limited liability joint venture with WB, don't you? CW stands for "CBS and Warner Bros".

As to the article, I'm still holding out for post-prime punch Maxwell Lord since they are going apes--t crazy on squeezing every DC character reference they possibly can into this show (which is what I feel may be the show's unfortunate undoing).

Vertigo or Maxwell Lord I'm guessing.

I agree with soberchimera61 and ChanceX74, I'm thinking Maxwell Lord. I'm really hoping he isn't Wayne but he does look kinda like pre-crisis Bruce

Barrowman is pretty awesome and Torchwood (ie. Captain Jack) kicks ass, so I'm looking forward to whatever he's playing here.

If this show does indeed take off and gives GA a main spotlight for 2+ seasons, I think we see bruce turn up in Season 3.

John Barrowman's gold. No clue who he's playing, I just hope they don't waste him.

That's a pretty big watch he is wearing. Perhaps the Clock King?

As terrible and boring as the show started out, what the show is doing EXTREMELY right for now is the fighting and what will be the villains. Except Merlyn. The action greatly outdid both Smallville and the Dark Knight Trilogy in only the first episode! It looks like it will have a great plot going for it as well (with the list, and how it's his motivation - a conspiracy plot differs it from Batman immensely).

The only problem is how it completely betrays a lot of the Green Arrow lore with the characters. Speedy and Laurel Lance hurt the most.

@Dynamo: ...Somehow I don't think that Bruce Wayne would be, willingly, working with a woman who had her own "baby boy" as she called him kidnapped and tortured for information, here, ya know?... *cool*/P :)
