POLL RESULTS: Hawkeye/Black Widow VS Green Arrow/Black Canary!

Who was the winning duo? Did Hawkeye and the Black Widow take it to Green Arrow and Black Canary or did DC's ultimate archer/ songbird combination take down Marvels bad girl and the original smart mouthed Avenger?

Last Saturday nights VS POLL turned out to be the best match up we have seen in the weekly contest by an incredibly close margin. With the deadly combination of Hawkeye/Black Widow in one corner and the ever menacing tandem of Green Arrow/Black Canary in the other, It was anybody's guess who would be triumphant.

With over 1,900 CBM'ers voting in this exchange, it remained very close throughout the week, with the two teams swapping the lead many times and the winner taking the contest by three votes. As I post the results in this article I can't help but think, if I had waited another hour the outcome may have been different.

Green Arrow is a better archer than Hawkeye, he could kill both him and Black Widow.

Black Widow would own all 3, being a vet Russian superspy instead of just street fighters with toys and skills. You can sonic scream or trick shot all you want but all it takes is a stealth takedown when unexpected. Black Widow is simply badass. Knowledge over skill.

Daaaaaamn. That was close. This, I think, has been the closest poll to voting "draw" for me, and well...this proves it!! Glad i voted for the Marvel team, though. Hawkeye and BW just make a better team, even if it is by a hair.

In my mind I was figuring Hawkeye was better than Green Arrow. no doubt. It was the women I had to debate over. I think the better team won, but I'm still not sure about the Black Widow/Canary fight. Oh well I'll just keep playing it out in my head lol.

Lee you're DC and you're old. Don't disguise yourself otherwise. I thought there are plenty more DC fans than Marvel. When Marvel wins it's by a hair, DC wins often by a landslide.

Yvonne is cooler being Ms Marvel than Canary. She doesn't need to scream like mad for one. Charlie H, he's Iron Fist. You know who fits as Green Arrow? Cary Elwes.

great,these match ups are decided on screen appearence weather its tv or cinema.

so your comparing the no budget lame ass "smallville" versions against the big budget movie "iron man 2" & "the avengers" versions.

When i think of these polls and matchups i think of the battle being spur of the moment, with no time to plan. Just pure instinct vs pure instinct. in this case GA and BC would win.

1 shriek and a couple of well places boxing glove arrows and this sh!t is over.

I didn't vote. And up to now I still remain undecided. Hawkeye and Green Arrow are too identical and not too certain which super heroine's power/skills is strong enough to beat the other.

Excellent match up and personally I think its too narrow to call it a clear victory.

This would be a very tight match up. Hawkeye and Green Arrow would be a draw. They have similar skills and from what I know of either character I don't there is anything in the their backround that would indicate that one is better than the other.
Black Widow and Black Canery is a very interesting fight. In hand to hand combat Black Widow would win with her Russian espionage training. However with Black Canery's sonic scream it changes the fight completely.
I'd go with Black widow using her widows bite on her and then breaking her jaw to stop her from using it.
So I'd go with Black Widow and Hawkeye.

Man, I thought I was the only one supporting Charlie Hunamm for Oliver Queen/Green Arrow. Ever since I read Year One, I thought he looked a LOT like him in that comic. Although I think Justin Hartley has done a great job on Smallville.

I was really expecting GA to win this one, but whatevs.
