While watching the extras on my new "Iron Man 2" DVD, it showed "Captain America" #1 in a box labeled property of Howard Stark. Once opened it shows you features of everything inside and it happened to show the Captain America comic. I don't remember anyone writing about it before, so I felt the need to tell you all. If you haven't watched the extras I highly recommend you to do so. It's got some interesting stuff in there.
I'm sure most of you are familiar with "Captain America" #1 cover.
You can almost see Bucky in the bottom right hand corner.
You can see the title at the top.
The only thing that doesn't make sense in this Easter egg is Capt. America is part of the Marvel Universe. Why is there a comic of him in the movie? Wouldn't it make more sense if there was no such thing as Marvel in all their movies?
They're living in it. It's not like "Heroes" where the comic predicts the future. It's a bit of a silly Easter egg.
I don't want to see any bashing of the movie in the comments section. I loved it.
