Marvel and Disney have been doing a pretty great job with promoting Shane Black's upcoming Iron Man 3. The first trailer became one ofthe most (if not the most) viewed movie trailer of all time on YouTube with 52.8 million views from just one upload, and the recent Super Bowl commercial for the film had the most impact with the viewers during the game. Since then, we have seen four (character) posters, each one putting the spotlight on main characters. Now, thanks to Alberta Film Ratings, it seems that the second theatrical trailer has been classified, and its running time is 2:25. As you can see below, Walt Disney is also planning to release a third trailer for Gore Verbinski's The Lone Ranger, starring Armie Hammer and Johny Depp.
While there is no official confirmation about the release of this new trailer for
Iron Man 3, word has it it will be at the beginning of March. Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale with Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley,
Iron Man 3 is directed by Shane Black from a screenplay by Drew Pearce and Shane Black. The film is set for May 3, 2013 release.
’Iron Man 3′ pits the brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds (The Mandarin; Ben Kingsley). When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?
