The annual Ani-Com & Games Hong Kong event will kick off this Friday! Fans may have expected to preview a series of upcoming collectibles there!

We will be showcasing the firstly unveiled Mark VII & Hulk from The Avengers, The Bat and Catwoman from The Dark Knight Rises……

A great surprise to fans - the prototype of Agent Phil Coulson and Chitauri Footsoldier from The Avengers will be unveiled there!

What’s more, we will also showcase our first collectible figure of the 1/4th scale series at the Ani-Com! Batman fans can have a look at our first-of-its-kind 1/4th scale Batman Collectible Figure from The Dark Knight Rises!

More upcoming collectibles will be available at the event. Please stay tuned!

It was in like the opening credits, correct me if im wrong it was one the first thing the named them when we saw them.

And if they werent called Chitauri, why would HOT TOYS CALL THEM THAT?

Why would Whedon say they aren't chitauri when they are clearly identified as such a few times in the movie? "our army is ready, our...chitauri...are yours to command."

Man, I really hate to do this but I can't help myself.

I loved the avengers but if avengers was Nolan/DC movie you all would be bitching that the Chitauri look different from the books, Coulson is a made up character, and the story was generic alien invasion. Man Whedon "raped" the source material.

This is what every thread about TDKR reads like and then I see this thread about these marvel toys which are nothing like anything in the comics and everybody just loves them.

I honestly believe that 98% of people on this site have never read the comics or "source material" they seem to gripe about.

BTW, toys look great but they are way to expensive.

all i know is these collectors items will be groovy but pricey.

@bathead, i dont agree with your argument however i also beleive half the people on here havent read a single comic. but thats neither here nor there bc it is comicbookMOVIE so i would expect fans from every aspect of that title. i will say though this site has broadened my interest in comics. that being said i love CBM. cool toys

I dodn't think your understanding my post. I loved the Avengers it was a great movie and great leap forward for the genre. I'm just saying that all the marvel fans on this site nit pick and complain about every little thing in DC movies like TDKR and when marvel does the exact same thing its fine.

And I do read comics.... a lot....always have......Love Avengers.....trust me... I'm a ture nerd.

JGL's Blake was a made up character in TDKR and there wasn't a problem, so what if Coulson is? Coulson would pimp slapped Bane and had his whole crusade wrapped up in 4 hrs. THEN he would have swarma while looking at his Cap cards.....thats how freakin BOSS he is
