A monstrous creature terrorizes a 19th Century European village by moonlight and a young man struggles to protect his loved ones from an unspeakable scourge in Werewolf: The Beast Among Us, Universal Studios’ all-new addition to its time-honored legacy of classic monsters. During his studies with the local doctor (Stephen Rea), Daniel (Guy Wilson) witnesses the horrific consequences of werewolf attacks. Watching as the beast’s fearsome reputation draws bounty hunters, thrill seekers and charlatans to the tiny town, Daniel dreams of destroying the ruthless predator. So when a mysterious stranger (Ed Quinn) and his team of skilled werewolf hunters (Stephen Bauer, Adam Croasdell) arrive to pursue the monster, he offers to join them, despite his mother’s (Nia Peeples) protests. But it soon becomes clear that this creature is stronger, smarter and more dangerous than anything they have faced before. As casualties mount and villagers see their neighbors transformed into ravening monsters, the townsfolk take up arms against each other to find the true identity of the werewolf. Amid the hysteria, Daniel begins to suspect he’s closer to his target than he ever dreamed.

Ok so I was lying, it looks awful. For more stills from the movie as well as a full list of special features click the link back to Collider below. Werewolf: The Beast Among Us comes to Blu-ray/DVD October 9th.

Yeah it might be entertaining enough in that way I guess. The first one was bad enough though imo, aside from some nice cinematography.

When will studios realize you can't take what should be a horror movie and make it an action movie? Also, why does that one guy need an eye-patch? Why does one guy have to be a "knife expert"? Honestly, who in a real world situation fights by throwing a bunch of knives??? Why does the chick need to use a flamethrower? Stupid pointless action...

LMAO! Why is Stephen Rea in this? That dude deserves so much more than this.

When we can get a really scary Werewolf film?
I love werewolves. They are my favorite mythological creatures but im tired to watch these steampunk themed versions of them.
Where is movies like American Werewolf In London, The Howling, Wolf, Wolfen and Silver Bullet.
You know good thriller type of Werewolf films.

They should remake Silver Bullet. I think they could do a really scary movie of it today.
The original is decent but not perfect.

Just name it The Cycle of the Werewolf like the book.

The Howling is another. The original Joe Dante´s film is decent also but change alot of things from the book.

My only request is if they remake any of those films they better not use CGI effects. Or if they do they better make them mother[frick]ing great.
