According to a new report brought up by The New York Times, Lionsgate has plans to build a theme park attraction centered around its franchises and properties. Chief executive at Lionsgate entertainment, had said that they "thought about it" and "realized there was a major opportunity, not just to create something smart and captivating that ‘Hunger Games’ fans would love, but to bring all of our franchises alive in new ways." Said attractions are set to be build in in several different locations such as in Atlanta, US,  and Macau, China, within the next few years. If so, it sounds though Lionsgate will be licensing its properties to other companies associated with theme parks to include them to their already existing ones or build new ones. They already have a pretty decent library with films such as "Step Up," "Now You See Me" and  the "Twilight" and"Divergent" series. Concepts to rides could be "Step Up" dance competitions, "Hunger Games" roller coasters based of its high speed train and recreating the setting of Panem with characters from the movies walking around, mimicking that of the planned Star Wars land at Dinsey resorts. Since Lionsgate is new to the theme park business, obviously, failure is a concern, hence the licensing of its films. How could they not be, with "the Hunger Games" being all about children fighting to the death under the ruling of a totalitarian government. Regardless, this would be a great opportunity for the company to earn more revenue and increase their business in other ways. Furthermore, keeping its films in relevance throughout the years, and with the final "Hunger Games" movie being released this month, could also open up discussions of spin-offs.What do you think about this, do you think it's a bad idea or too far fetched for Lionsgate? Would you even visit such place? Sound off in the comments below.

With the nation of Panem in a full scale war, Katniss confronts President Snow [Donald Sutherland] in the final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends – including Gale [Liam Hemsworth], Finnick [Sam Claflin] and Peeta [Josh Hutcherson] – Katniss goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to liberate the citizens of Panem, and stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her. The mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The Hunger Games.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 is directed by Francis Lawrence and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Willow Shields, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland, Julianne Moore, Mahershala Ali, Natalie Dormer, Wes Chatham, Elden Henson and Evan Ross. The movie lands in theaters November 20.

This is ridiculously stupid.
What's next, a Schindler's List ride? A 12 Years a Slave ride?

I was really impressed with the first Hunger Games and the second one was worth it for Jenna Malone. It was a pretty good sequel. But Mockingjay Part 1 was like having my face shat on by a gorilla. It was seriously terrible. One of the worst films I've ever sat through. Hopefully, Mockingjay Part 2 will be better.
