JURASSIC WORLD 2: Come Get Your First Official Look At The Upcoming Sequel With This Intriguing New Photo

Hot on the heels of that epic Thor: Ragnarok reveal, we've also received a first look at one of 2018's most hotly awaited features, Jurassic World 2.

Director J.A. Bayona (The Impossible; A Monster Calls) along with producers Colin Trevorrow & Frank Marshall all tweeted out a first look image earlier this afternoon featuring a young girl standing
in front of a Triceratops skull in what appears to be a museum... or could it be someone's home?

Plot details remain scarce, but we do know that both Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will be reprising their roles as Owen Grady and Claire Dearing, respectively, from the 2015 blockbuster. They'll be joined by B.D. Wong, Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, Justice Smith, Daniella Pineda, Ted Levine, James Cromwell, and Geraldine Chaplin. It's uncertain who the young girl is, but the studio did recently issue a casting call, seeking an actress to fill the role of a 9-year-old girl named Lucy, so it's more likely than not that it's her we're seeing, although no word yet on who's playing her.

Nothing will most likely beat the amazing first Jurassic park, but this one has promise being the 2nd best. Pratt and BDH carried JW and will have a better director imo to make this have that scary aspect of Jurassic park 1 had and JW lacked. However I honestly have no idea where they go with the plot here.

@Menks123 - I honestly don't think any blockbuster will ever beat Jurassic Park or Jaws. They're both just perfect movies.

@MiopTop - That's what I've been saying for a while. Jurassic Park is the perfect blockbuster.

If I was a little kid and I was alone in that place, I could see myself being creeped the [frick] out.

I'm curious as to where the plot is going as well. There's no way in hell anybody would go to another park after TWO (JP and JW) major park malfunctions that left Dino's just roaming the island. So what will the plot be is the main question.

@AquaArthur - They said the goal for the second series in the franchise was to bring the dinos to the mainland and really make it a Jurassic "world".

This definitely has a very "dinosaur" vibe to it.

It's not untrue.

As long as the movie isnt about another group of idiots opening a dinosaur park and the dinosaur experts are brought in to save the day I'll give it a shot.
