It's just been announced that Juan Antonio García Bayona will take the reigns of the Jurassic Park franchise, as the A Monster Calls (see the new trailer for that below) director has signed on to helm the follow-up to the mega-hit, Jurassic World.

That movie's director, Colin Trevorrow, will remain on board as executive producer along with Steven Spielberg, while Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are also expected to reprise their roles.

Jurassic World 2 is set to hit theatres on June 22, 2018.
