Before The Last Jedi opens this weekend, Screen Junkies has released an honest trailer for the Star Wars film that can best be described as "The third one".

The trailer cracks a few jokes about how this film is considered a "kids movie" that is full of burp gags and slapstick comedy, and mentions how Boba Fett went out like Wile E. Coyote in a finale that’s almost silly enough to make you question why your identity is so tied to a soap opera about space wizards.

Oh, and Jedi is my favorite Star Wars movie.

It was definitely the weakest in the original trilogy but still was great and was a satisfying conclusion to the trilogy.

@MrDandy - I don't see how it was the weakest. It tied up all loose ends. Yeah...some got an issue with the WAY Boba went out. I thought it was hilarious...the most feared bounty hunter and Solo accidently screws up his jetpack. It was a nice twist...and say what you will about the Ewoks...they stepped up and gave the rebels a victory.

@blitzkreg - Weakest only because the others are so good, I guess. Was a bit more flawed, but isn't really bad in any way.

Return Of The Jedi was a damn good film in my book. Some may hate me for this....but I dug the hell out of the Ewoks. Yeah they might look like walking teddy bears...but Lucas whole point was that heros come in all shapes and sizes. AND yeah....The Ewoks movies were also good.

@blitzkreg - no hate from me! Loved RoTJ!! From the rancor, to the sarlaac, to Endor to the final showdown between father and son. Such a satisfying film. Loved the forest asthetics on Endor and the Ewoks never bothered me. It was just all around awesome.

They were a little too feminist when talking about Slave Leia.

I the original trilogy kind of mirrors Nolan's TDK trilogy
The first being respected as a great film, the second being seen by many as the greatest in the series, and the third not being anywhere near as powerful as the first two but still managed to be a success and a satisfying conclusion.

@Supes17 - Not to spin off on TOO much of a tangent here, but I remember when I first walked out of The Dark Knight Rises, like I recall I'd already heard some 'wavering' advanced word about it, and I was like "there are some people that are down on this movie?? It was a great way to end this incredible series!"

In the years since, I swear it only just keeps falling another rung down the ladder with each additional viewing lol
I mean it's not an objectively "bad" film, but it is SIGNIFICANTLY off either of the first two, and has more than its fair share of flaws.

I've always liked the Luke and Vader dynamic the most in ROTJ but the Ewoks and occasional bit of slapstick do kind of water it down a bit.

But let's not fool ourselves too hard either. There are scenes in the other 2 movies that could solicit humor but they tended to be a lot more subtle in their delivery.
