Release Dates Revealed For Two More TERMINATOR Movies Following GENISYS
We know that Alan Taylor's Terminator: Genisys will be one of 2015's many blockbusters, but Paramount Pictures are clearly feeling confident about its chances as they have now announced TWO more movies in the rebooted franchise which will be released back to back. Read on for details!
Thor: The Dark World director Alan Taylor will reboot the Terminator franchise with Terminator: Genisys, a movie which is set to be released next July. Arnold Schwarzenegger returns as the now aged T-800, while Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke will play Sarah Connor. Joining them are Jai Courtney (Jack Reacher) as Kyle Reese and Jason Clarke (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) as John Connor. It was always the plan for this movie to be the first in a trilogy, and Paramount Pictures have announced today that Terminator 2 will be released on May 19th, 2017 and that a third will follow shortly after on June 29th, 2018. With only a year between them, the plan must be to shoot the second and third movies back to back. As of right now, there's no word on whether Taylor is committed to these two and what role the cast members listed above will play. How do you guys feel about this news?
