Earlier today, Dwayne Johnson revealed that he'd love to see Armie Hammer suit-up as Shazam when the DC adaptation finally hits theaters, but the Baywatch actor has now hinted that we might be seeing that hero's nemesis a lot sooner than that.

During an interview with Fandango, Johnson revealed that there is a big surprise in store for fans as it pertains to the big screen debut of Black Adam.

“It’s definitely going to happen, sure. We’ve had great conversations with Geoff Johns and everyone over at DC. It’s an exciting time right now for everyone at DC because they are in a process now where they are building out [their DC universe] really nicely. We have a really cool surprise for Black Adam that I can’t reveal, in terms of where we will see Black Adam being introduced.”

Is there a possibility Black Adam could show up in Justice League, perhaps? That would open the door for a potential face-off with Superman, which Johnson also confirms is definitely "in the cards."

It sounds like there is some kind of big Black Adam announcement coming at any rate, so keep an eye on CBM for updates.

@marvel72 - I have and I could. [BELCH] But, that would set off a series of events that would cascade into a chasm of unstable temporal energy that could result in space and time folding into itself like cheap origami or at least one of those balloon animals. You know; the ones that clowns make at birthday parties?

No one is expecting it but imagine a Black Adam/Teth-Adam cameo in Justice League. Maybe fighting alongside the Atlanteans, Amazons, and Humans when the Motherboxes first arrived on Earth in that flashback war scene

@Beetleborg - That makes so much sense. Maybe they even think it's possible to bring him in to fight against Darkseid after the conflict and when they see what happened to Black Adam that eventually leads to the Shazam movie.

Excited for his take. I know many people are sick of him and the surplus of movies he is going to be in, but personally, he is one of my favorite action stars right now. He just brings so much fun and charisma to his characters, I enjoy all of his movies and roles.

DC would be unbelievably stupid to waste him and not get him in their universe where it makes sense story wise, he can be a great ambassador for their universe.
