USER EDITORIAL: Things I've Found Similar About The Lizard's Look In The New Spider-Man Film And The Comics

since the new Spidey trailer swung its way onto desktops I've heard moderate displeasure with his look. Through research and basic Spidey knowledge I've found that the Lizard closely resembles the ditko and modern look a lot more than some give credit for.

now some of the similarities are obvious but I found others that I thought were...well pretty cool.

1. The the lizards look- yes he looks like a Goomba and no lab coat which just stinks but lets take a look at his face during his alleged "first phase"

Now he has NO SNOUT at all (which I'm sure changes through the course of the film)

Now lets look at the Ditko Lizard-

see the resemblance? now to those who do not know this is from the Lizards first appearance. Now thats not even counting the fact that they are falling down a sewer just like it was shown in the trailer here

Well there you have it. These are MY ideas as to why he looks the way he looks so if anyone has any other theories I'm eager to hear. Hope you enjoyed the article!
