Tobey's suit was much better. This suit is crap.

This is TOTAL DISRESPECT to the people who worked so hard to bring us the great original trilogy. This is definitely a unecessary reboot.

i love spider-man2...its my favorite movie of all time, but i truelly favor the way the reboot is shaping up...yea the suit's different but like others have said they had to set themselves apart from the previous trilogy...

His suit looks like he cut up a ton of basketballs and sewn then together and painted it red and blue.

Darkness of the colors, the mask, the spider logos and the web color in the suit are great but... yeah everything else sucks.

Much better!:)

Strange how their is alot of video out their. Sony must be doing it to tell the fans "were trying" Am hoping it fails so the rights go back to Marvel.

If the rights of all their properties were back at Marvel we wouldn't get anywhere near as many Marvel films. You think they could dish out 4 quality films in a year? cos I don't. Just saying. I'd love Marvel to have all the film rights but in the end i think it'd be worse. Now a collaboration between the studios, linking the universes would be ideal BUT it won't happen, at least it seems unlikely that it would.

Anyway, I love the look of the new suit and am looking forward to everything about this movie so far!

Although i don't like the new suit, it doesn't take away
from me being a huge spidey fan so i'm looking forward
to seeing the new Peter Parker, new villains, new spidey
tricks & special effects, new love interest AND yes -
even the new suit in action. Can't wait!!

Wow and looks like i'm not the only who thoguht this was bad from the begging. Maybe there's a way to bring back the "orginal cast" back without the unessary reboot once more, withc this was unarry from the begging.

I HATE EVERYTHING ABOUT WHERE THEYRE GOING WITH THE REBOOT. the costume is SHIT, i think its made from lycra and some parts rubber(BDSM anyone?), and is spidey even gonna have powers? i looked closely at an enlarged version of the promo shot and it looks like hes got some shit on the tips of his fingers so he can stick on walls(very, very uncool),i liked the organic webs, it was more believable, even stan lee said they were a better fit for the movies and once more for effect THE COSTUME IS SHIT!!!
