Black Spider-Man Got Em Runnin' Scared!!
Just The Mere Thought Of A Black Spider-Man Is Driving Certain People Crazy!

This past weekend I wrote an article here on Comicbookmovie.com the title of my article was 'Will Marvel Studios Spider-Man Be Miles Morales', my whole article was based on Hollywood insider Jeff Sneider's comments on meet the movie press podcast where he stated he was 95% sure that the new Spider-Man would not be white. That was based off of the information that he was given. He also said he wasn't sure if Spider-Man would be Black or Latino, but he believes that he would be black at the end of the day. Since then there have been 6 new articles about race change in Comic Books, and 5 of which being about Spider-Man.
At first I was neutral, it didn't matter to me if Spider-Man was white or black but the amount of backlash on here to just the idea of a Black Spider-Man is making me root for one, not just Miles but a Black Peter Parker... and why not? Some of you on here act like spoiled rich kids, some of you probably are spoiled rich kids. Parents buy you toys everyday and one Christmas they decide to buy the poor kid down the street a Nerf football and you have a s**t fit! All of these tons and tons of white superheroes, white superhero movies and the mere thought, keep in mind this is just the thought of it being a possibility that is making some of you show your true colors, only you would know if it applies to you.
I think back to when Michael B. Jordan was cast as Human Torch, he was called every racial name in the book on this site right here. Some of you thought it was cute to be allowed to say such awful things about a very good actor I must add, and that was strictly race related. Then after seeing the trailer for 'The Fantastic Four' some of you act as if you never said those things because at the end of the day he's going to be a great Human Torch and you know it! His performance so far made you forget about all that hate that you had originally that fast. A capable black actor for Spider-Man will make you think the same thing...well some of you at least. Some of you will never embrace the thought of a black actor playing a fictional white character, and it's sad. It's sad because your reasons why run so deep. I'm sure Jeff Sneider is receiving death threats for his comments. He already tried to say he was joking about Spider-Man dying in the new movie. Imagine the amount of heat he has brought to Marvel and Sony as well. Probably more hate mail than the President Barack Obama gets. Just think if Kevin Feige made Peter Parker black and left Mary Jane white, and they kissed...that trailer would have to come with the number to the suicide hotline lol.
I don't care who this offends, because I have read many offensive comments and articles that I didn't like as a black male, and nobody stood up against some of those simple minded comments. Virileman just wrote 'What if Miles Morales Was White'? So what, he'd just be like the other 98% of Marvel and DC Comic Book characters. Spidey2244 had the nerve to say 'people seem to hate white people and slavery was his ancestor's fault not his'. It's becomes his fault when he fights against the chance for equality (equal opportunity) for those that don't know, that makes him just like his ancestors, especially if he has a problem with ones skin color for any reason. Somebody had the nerve to tell me I would become the most unpopular user on this site, and that was for my previous article, I should have told him too late. Just like the Superheroes we glorify on this website, I will always stand up for what's right. Even IGN just reported Spider-Man will most likely not be white. It's no right or wrong answer on whether Spider-Man will be black or white. What's wrong is the amount of hatred being shown on this site. Former Spider-Man Andrew Garfield has been calling for a black Spider-Man for the longest time now, looks like his wishes could be coming true. There are bigger issues between blacks and white's that need to be addressed other than the casting of Spider-Man.
Grow Up!
