Marvel, via Entertainment Weekly, has released another mysterious Summer 2015 teaser, and it's titled The Amazing Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows! What this means for Marvel's #1 hero is yet to be seen, but it is okay to freak out a bit if you must. The teaser does seem to reveal that it will definitively tie back into Spidey's now controverstially erased wedding and it also looks like it reveals that Peter Parker & Mary Jane's daughter, May "Mayday" Parker, will be included! Check out the artwork, done by Adam Kubert, below!

What do you guys make of the latest teaser? What is Marvel up to? Sound off with your thoughts below!

I got a strong feeling that Spider-man is still dead and all these marvel books coming out are spider-man dead dreams. Like at the end God will say "peter, stop trying to live, you are in heaven now."

I dunno. This kind of makes me happy. Been waiting years. The great thing about Spidey comics before that happened was that THERE WAS PROGRESSION in his overall story, from Betty, to Gwen, to Mary Jane. Now that characters like the Fantastic Four (616) have kids, I think they felt that they could give Peter his wife and daughter back without worrying about how it aged the character of Spidey (something I KNOW was one of the reasons before One More Day).

Is Marvel finally reversing "One More Day"?

They have probably earned my respect back if they actually reverse the dumbass deal with Mephisto.

How hard is it for people to get that all of these teasers are just leading to Secret Wars? They are not all separate events... its really not hard to figure out.

Different timelines, different universes, its what Hickman has been building since taking over Avengers

[frick] YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it all makes sense with the possble reboot and with the amazing spiderman 3 coming out very soon it wouldn't make sense not to make them pair up together especially with civil war leading to that abomniation

@Robosushi, if you were a fan of the original... I really hope we get the Beyonder back. Secret Wars 1 was amazing. Secret Wars 2 was fantastic as well. 2 cracked me UP!!! Alegorical characters are where it's at!

@sicknimon I dont think were getting the Beyonder in this one unfortunately... but yea I was definitely a fan of the first. Looking back though, it wasnt great, it was more about being young and freaking out that everyone was all fighting each other in one book

Any ATTEMPT to restore the shitstorm that was One More Day gets a thumb up in my book!!! Let's do some detective work here gang. 1ST - Who? Answer- The entire Marvel Universe. Next- What? Answer- Iconic tales from Marvel's timeline (which also answers "When/Where?"). Finally- Why? I think this is hidden in plain sight. "ORIGINAL SIN". The upcoming event, based on past events were ALL WITNESSED BY THE WATCHER. I think the stories have a direct impact on Uatu's demise. "How" will be revealed once we read the stories, and I couldn't be more excited. My two cents...

I hope Marvel reverses "One More Day" I might actually read Spider-Man again. The last few years I have felt Spider-Man was a kids character and have not liked some of the choices Marvel has done with him. I would like to see him more matured.

IF this is just them teasing us with another alternate universe and not actually reversing one more day or at least making a follow up to it im going to be pretty pissed off. And i know linkara will be too. Especially since if they reverse one more day marvels gonna make a lot of extra money from him.

I think the mephisto deal was stupid.... but I think them getting married in the first place was a bad idea. Marriage doesnt lend itself to man y storylines. It gets redundant, either one of them cheats or one of them is in danger and needs rescuing over and over.

Him being single lends itself to new romances and new drama

watch this summer 2015/secret wars thing be almost identical to DC's convergence/band aid thing.

fans hated one more day,now marvel tease they may be reversing that decision & fans still hate on it.

i wonder how many of you hating on this even read comics.
rabid
rabid - 10/30/2014, 8:39 AM
They're not reversing One More Day. This is just every hero's life flashing before his eyes before he dies and get reincarnated in the reboot.
But I always thought fans love One More Day. I know I did. Everyone I ever heard slamming it admitted to not reading it. And a good many of those people also didn't read what Stracynzki had done to Peter that made it necessary.

One More Day was rock stupid, but it did revitalize the book, which is what they wanted. Quesada was right that Peter's a better character when he's young and single.

One of the things I used to like most about Marvel was that you would see the characters age and mature. I like seeing Peter progress not stay in High School or even at age 19-20 forever. Imagine if the original X-Men did that.

OMD saga was the last comic book I bought from spiderman...

if they revert that and restore continuity in spidey books, I might start buying that title again....

but we'll wait and see.

@dustella- I think it's pretty obvious that the Beyonder is permanently changing the marvel universe.
