Dane Dehaan Tweets First Official Photo Of Harry Osborn In THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2

Well, what a day this is! Just minutes after The Amazing Spider-Man 2 director Marc Webb offered us a first look at Jamie Foxx as Max Dillon, actor Dane Dehaan has Tweeted an official image of him as Harry Osborn in the highly anticipated sequel.

We've seen a photo of Jamie Foxx on the set of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 as Max Dillon, and now Dane Dehaan has followed that up with an image of himself as Harry Osborn! While it's obviously not quite as revealing, he certainly has a rather dark and intense look about him which makes him stand out from the lighter take that James Franco mostly delivered in the first Spider-Man movie way back in 2002. In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

I know he'll be good in this role. Chronicle and The Place Beyond the Pines have given me no doubt that he won't be great in this role

He'll be great, so will the rest of the cast. I mean, Cooper, Foxx, Giamatti...it must be really interesting to see how their characters turn out to be, in the final product. I'm excited.

@MrShumway That pic is actually poetry. These are the big three. The most recognizable and most popular superheroes in the world. Bats and Supes gets quality care while Spider-man is turned into a mediocre series. Spider-man deserves more. Way more.

But yeah, I'm most excited for DeHaan's Harry. Brilliant actor, and if the character's written properly, he can steal all the spotlights in the movie. Plus, he's got Chris Cooper as his Norman.

I hope he's like his character from cronicle, but less dark, but his relationship with Peter will be like his relationship with his cousin in chronicle, Peter sees that he's mentally unstable throughout
