Recently Donald Glover revealed in an interview that he was done campaigning for the role of Spider-Man. But now in an interview for the Lazarus Effect Glover would not confirm or deny discussions for the role. "I can't say I'm the next Spider-Man," he said. But when asked if he wasn't the next Spider-Man, he responded. "I can't say that either. I mean, it's not out yet."

Later in the interview he comments on how well he could portray the wall-crawlimg hero saying, "I personally think I would be amazing, like 'The Amazing Spider-Man,'"

Whether or not Glover does get the role, he shares the same sentiments as other fans of the webhead saying he just wants the next films"to be good."
