We've spent months dealing with what feels like countless rumours about Spider-Man: No Way Home, and the hope is that tonight's trailer will at least confirm or debunk a few of them.

It's thought that Daredevil star Charlie Cox will reprise the role of Matt Murdock in the threequel, but what about Vincent D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk/Kingpin? There have been rumblings he could factor into Hawkeye, but as a classic Spider-Man villain, would Peter Parker come to blows with the Kingpin of Crime?

It's a nice thought, but according to D'Onofrio himself, we shouldn't get our hopes up.

"I can't wait to see [Spider-Man: No Way Home]," the actor says in the Tweet below. "I’m not in it but I hear it's a very cool film." There's no reason these two couldn't cross paths in the post-Spider-Man: No Way Home MCU, but we weren't buying into this cameo being in the works, regardless. However, we certainly hope this Kingpin does have a future on the big or small screen.

We're now just hours away from the new Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer swinging online, so you'll want to keep checking back here as it will be on the site the second Sony finally shares it with the world.

Spider-Man: No Way Home arrives in U.S. on December 17 and in the UK on December 15.

I mean…Spidey would take care of him with ease

That being said he would probably decapitate Aunt May without hesitation.

I don't doubt it. I think we're only going to see plainclothes Matt Murdock.

Oh we know you're not in no way home Vincent don't worry.

But.....you haven't hidden the fact that you're probably in Hawkeye all that well.

@Mrcool210 - He will return in a post-credit scene from Hawkeye and Kingpin will have a major role on Show Echo. For the Echo Show, I want to see Kingpin, Daredevil and ... Bullseye in the final episodes. When Matt and Maya team up against the Kingpin, Bullseye awaits them.

I agree with just about everyone that Vincent's portrayal of Kingpin is outstanding and hard to match. But if I'm being completely honest when I saw Michael Clarke Duncan's take on the character in tat somewhat forgettable Daredevil movie, I thought his physique, (not at all talking about race swapping here) but that physique was exactly how I remembered in the comics. I love Vincent but he has always been a little too slim for me. Minor complaint I admit.
