Spider-Man: No Way Home is now playing in theaters and continues to break box office records. Yesterday, it topped Spider-Man: Far From Home to become the wall-crawler's highest-grossing solo outing, and it appears the sky really is the limit for the MCU's new most popular character.

Despite showing Spidey's new costume in recent TV spots and promos, Sony Pictures has yet to start dropping too many spoilers in the movie's marketing campaign, hence why we've yet to see any official footage of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's Spider-Men. However, new promo art continues to surface as we get ready for a new wave of merchandise to arrive in stores.

As you can see below, we get an amazing comic book-inspired take on the three wall-crawlers teaming up to battle the Sinister Six Five. In the second piece (expect to see this imagery adorning t-shirts and the like), the masks of all three Peter Parkers are combined to make one astonishing image. We also have a couple more pieces uniting these heroes in one explosive, villain-filled setting.

Despite some very suspicious leaks and a whole lot of rumours, the inclusion of Maguire and Garfield's Spider-Men was never officially announced. This meant it was a surprise for the vast majority of moviegoers, and that intrigue surrounding their possible return helped generate Avengers: Endgame-levels of interest in the threequel which has since helped the movie become a record-breaking box office hit.

"...The MCU's Most Spectacular Team-Up"

*cough*

@MosquitoFarmer - honestly I think this gives endgame a run for its money. Especially since it's not just a hero crossover but a villain one as well.

Besides, those characters already crossed over the year before, whereas two of the heroes in no way home haven't been onscreen in 11 and 7
years, respectively.

@MosquitoFarmer - That team has gods on it! Greatest scene in the entire MCU.

@MosquitoFarmer - it's gonna be a long, long time for something to beat that. It's just a whole other level for me

@MosquitoFarmer -
lol, no. Endgame was overrated and the final battle looked like garbage. A majority of characters show up in the finale to do f-all. Meanwhile NWH manages it characters well and gives Andrew and Tobey arcs in the film and the final battle does not look bland and just them vs a CGI army.

@Scarilian - Have fun with that.

@Scarilian - honestly, nwh climax didnt even have all 6 fighting the 3 spideys. lazy night setting didnt do it for me, no american flag appearance à la raimi shots, no epic swing away, no old themes, but you keep sucking on that hype train teat.

SonOfAGif - 12/30/2021, 3:56 PM
@hazapez - So you're upset about no American flag despite the entire battle taking place on the Statue of Liberty holding a giant copper Captain America shield? No epic swing away despite the ending having an epic swing away? No old themes despite each character having their original themes playing each time they had a scene? You didn't see the movie apparently.

@Origame - I know the movie is fantastic and all, but you're forgetting how incredible it was to bring the Avengers together for the first time and times beyond that. This movie is really special, REALLY special, but I'm more so poking fun at Wilding's quote. (Plus because this is a new movie, obviously everyone is gonna be in hyper hype mode over it.)
Origame
Origame - 12/30/2021, 8:24 PM
@MosquitoFarmer - except endgame wasn't the first time. That was infinity war. And that was the year before endgame. Not to mention how the mcu was built around all these franchises coming together. So once a superhero is introduced in a film, the assumption is they'll be brought together for the big crossover. But with Tom Holland in as a new Spiderman the assumption was Tobey and garfield would be done forever, so them coming back at all is enough to generate massive hype, but then interacting with each other and bringing back beloved villains, even ones that died, is a huge surprise.
MosquitoFarmer
MosquitoFarmer - 12/30/2021, 11:35 PM
@Origame - I get these three and the villains coming together is wild. The Avengers coming together for a movie was very unheard of not so long ago too.
Origame
Origame - 12/31/2021, 5:50 AM
@MosquitoFarmer - no, that was definitely expected by the time endgame came around. If we were talking 2008 then yeah I'd agree with you. But not 2019 when the movie came out.
hazapez
hazapez - 12/31/2021, 8:55 AM
@SonOfAGif - im talking iconic shots like the ending of spider-man '02 and the climax of '03. a setting isnt the same thing. watts cant film a swing away the way raimi could and the themes weren't even prominent at all. and if you're going to make a film about spider-men then do that and not one about holland and his supporting characters instead.

Is there some kind of editorial embargo on using the word "Amazing"? Every Spider-Man article seems to get tagged with "Spectacular" as it's adjective when the most appropriate one would be "Amazing."

It's just kind of weird.

(Yes, I'm aware Spectacular was one of the bajillion spin-offs. Amazing is still the go-to adjective.)

Never gave much thought until the film and now promos, to how Tobey's silver webbing on the costume really makes him stand out
JonC
JonC - 12/30/2021, 5:34 PM
@QuiGonsGhost - Silver webbing?
Pretty sure its a semi shiny black rubber that when hit by light reflects that light appearing 'lit' up.
JonC
JonC - 12/30/2021, 5:35 PM
@JonC - you can see the spider on the chest is a more matte black and does not shine like the webbing.
QuiGonsGhost
QuiGonsGhost - 12/30/2021, 8:45 PM
@JonC - then I suppose 'lit up' is what I mean.

But by SM3 it's was often 'lit up' and appeared silver imo, and these promos utilize that
